Hi, yesterday i was thinking about how cool would be to make some decks themed after roberts rebellion.
 
Maybe with just 2 factions instead of 8. One being a combination of Baratheons, Starks, Tullys and Arryns serving as the Rebel faction, while the other composed of targaryen, martells and tyrells would be the loyalist factions.  The lannisters and greyjoys could appear serving as neutral cards, especially the lannisters.
 
I think it would be a super cool thing for ffg to do, since roberts rebellions was such an epic and massve conflict that in my opinion could compare to the war of 5 kings in scale. And it presents such a plethora of interesting characthers that i would like to see represented in the card game. Such as the old kingsguard, jon connington, jon arryn, Brandon Stark, and obviously Rhaegar and young robert.
 
I'm sure I'm not the first one to have this idea, so I would like to know who else though about it, and what are their opinions in the matter as well as their attemps to represent such a rich period of westerosi history

I'd be up for a prequel itineration of the game, once the OT is done.

Yeah, having themed, generic plot decks could work. You'll have to experiment a little. Some high income and some low income with a really useful effect, maybe?
 
For the main decks you can make slots for a set of roads, Tears, Milk, Varys and Littlefinger, then just make 50-card decks that combine with one of these "standard sets". Superior Claim is a Power-based card, so you could set aside a space for that and the matching cards for other challenge types based on each deck's strength. There could be more than one card that fits a military-heavy deck, for instance.

It's a miniatures game because the size, position, and orientation of the miniature figures matters. The cards are there to support the miniatures, and have no direct significance themselves. The cards are really just cheat-sheets to make it easy to remember and convey what the stats and abilities of each miniature are.

Yeah, Armarda is the big surprise in that list. I was under the impression imperial assault was way ahead of Armarda in sales

kirahxs is my go to ship most of the time when i play scum and i have run out of z 95. I like its straight style, not many tricks just sheer ferocity, the 1 turn is a very nice maneuver indeed.
 
Talonbane is my favourite pilot, if only he didnt run into botching every single 5 dice attack he makes(5 dice with glitterstim and he consistently rolls 3 blanks).

I read a few battle-reports that a guy had done up as comics. So the story of the comic followed how the game played out, which I thought was totally rad. I'd like to see more of those.

I've actually always preferred my miniatures to be sculpted in "resting" poses. It breaks suspension of disbelief for me more if a miniature is constantly in the middle of the same leap.
For example, I vastly prefer the basic royal guard figures to the royal guard champion figure. Love the wookiee warrior poses.

I don't want to seem rude or picky, but this is just what I'd honestly like to see when it comes to videos:
 
1) Games with real painted figures, on real tiled maps.
2) Games where the board takes up the majority of the screen, not arms, guts, bald spots, or soda cans.
3) Clear audio with as little dead air as possible.
4) Somewhere on the screen that shows the score or what round we're in, and a clear shot of the dice rolls. 
5) A quick intro and post-game discussion.
 
Team Covenant does a great job.  They do a good job showing the dice and the score; I want to see the dice not hear someone tell me about the blurry green and blue dots on the screen.  Playing a game and then doing commentary over the top of it is awesome as well.  I haven't seen anyone use all painted figures in a video, it would be awesome (especially if you edited the video and had close up shots during the game).  You'd probably get more views if it was a skirmish, but if you did all of the above I think you'd still do great even with campaign games.

Skirmish games are more interesting to watch than Campaign for certain, but even squad formation vids, or reviews of the packs, or things like that. As a beginning player, finding any content on the game, as opposed to painting, is challenging. I like the skirmish vids with good commentary for beginners, ala Team Covenant, but besides them, there's not much.
