  1. The thing about Balderdash Conquistador is that there isn't a role he can play that wouldn't be better served by Tom Hiddleston.

  3. Not sure where everyone got "Teacher" from, because it's pretty clearly not Teacher in the Wave 9 preview article. Teroch makes sense for a Mandalorian fighter, and it looks right in the picture. You're making the mistake of looking at the card, not the base insert (where 'Teacher' can be clearly seen).

  5. I got further into Twilight than I ever managed with Aftermath. The fact that they were willing to let him write for something as big as Star Wars says miles and miles for the gross mentalities prevalent with the people handling the new canon.

  8. This is a strange thing to me. Everyone I play with endeavors to play the game by the rules and the FAQ is the rules as much as anything else. When I'm the only one of the group who has time to waste on these forums/etc, it kind of makes more sense. The only elements of this FAQ that are any good (GONK, Stygium/discard) we were already using anyway. Plans are to implement bomb-speed rules in a few weeks as well.
  9. How does one ignore a large clarification on overall timings and a generalized update and tightening on the rules? Easily? Heck, I had to push people to even read the FAQs to begin with.

    Bounty Hunting

    I wonder if a 'This card does not occupy a crew slot.' bit would work. It's got a crew icon on it, so you can't equip it to a ship without crew on the bar, but it wouldn't take up the space. Still leaves the 'how does this fit on an IG-2000" problem.

  14. So far FFG's been good about not adding ugly ships to Epic (the EU has a real kludge of them once you get higher than starfighter scale).

The gunboat is 20 years old, not 20 years of development. For all you know, people spent more time thinking about the Shadow Caster than they did about the gunboat. Just because it's been around longer, does not mean it is better. Okay, I'll give you that, maybe the Star Trek design team did put a lot of thought into the Shadow Caster.

  18. It's a normal-ish TIE/fo with less internal space for power systems and more systems drawing off a minimized reactor, I think the dial makes sense (although lacking the 1 forward would be okay too).

Yeah, that. I'm sorry, those bombs have got to go. I know, I'm being almost pointlessly demanding, but it was hardly a standard feature on that vessel. They were the poor man's ETA-2 in the GAR, essentially. Though they were really **** nice I kind of like them as an upgrade card, but on the main statline ew no.
