I'll disagree with that. There are a lot of EU stuff that I found worse than Aftermath. Name seventeen. The Bounty Hunter Wars were worse. I haven't read 17 EU books and am happy to just stop at this point. I tried to read the X-wing series, but just couldn't get 100 pages in. Bounty Hunter Wars were top-tier, what the heck kind of "Star Wars" do you like?
-
Still the prettiest Star Wars comic. Maybe the Maybelline-commercial Chewie comic comes close. Maybe.
-
Yep! Sure, but how do they become reinforced? If they're taking the reinforcement action, where are they getting their actions to actually fire the ordnance? FCS?
-
That's a Decimator/Ghost box. Interestingly the Quadjumper and Sabine's TIE are both in standard expansion blisters, I'd expected the Quadjumper to have a medium blister like the K/Punisher/Mist Hunter, so despite the card count it's still a $15 expansion.
-
Reinforce on the Punisher, please.
-
X-Wing is what, 12.5m? It /is/ a medium expansion at least.
-
The cockpit squeezes 2 seats in. It's not very long, just bulky.
-
Some sort of reverse move if the reference card is any indication, I'm guessing faster Segnors as well (though why it has the ref card when the maneuver was integrated into core rules idk). Should at least have 1-turns if there's only the one reverse manuever at that speed.
-
I'm going to fly 6 Quadjumpers and nobody can stop me. Sounds right, I haven't looked at the tokens yet. 15pt generics, Plutt with Intel Agent and 1pt of whatever npnp, somebody's gotta do it~

X-Wing is dead. -
100% fake tho

Scum Epic with a small-ship fix for each?
-
Yeah I've been finding this surprisingly effective given her PS of 5. blocks aces, shoots before generics, doesn't care if generics block her because that's a free focus and her defense mods are intact actionless hits okay due to the dial being pretty darn good at staying r1

I READ YOUR BOOK! ehehe

Sensor+lone Wolf+Autothruster Guri is still substantially tougher than a Fang. to be fair the Fang can do AT+LW but Sensor Jammer and the 25% health bonus work very well Alternatively LW+SJ+CD+SPA for 5 greens, evade+focus+reroll+force attacker to spend focus

if there's a single use in recorded forum history for that fugly 'bad post' image it's probably this one. just doing my part making it deserve that

Movement cards are significantly more fiddly than templates, and the model quality has slipped over time.
-
The N-1's definitely its own look, but compare with the Royal Guards in RotJ - it's the same sort of ceremonial thing. Pretty much every other fighter (minus Grievous' fighter and the Geonosian starfighter) we see in the prequels can be traced foward to an aesthetic inheritor in the OT. Not necessarily directly via manufacturer, though. The general Vulture form is pretty much 'organic TIE-fighter', and we see Defender fore-designs in the Tri-fighter. Heck, parts of Raith Sienar's background involved him studying under the Xi Char and other Separatist manufacturers before pulling grand theft IP. From the other side, Delta-7>Eta-2/V-Wing>TIE Fighter is fairly obvious.
-
I get the prequel hate from a writing/directing view, but denying that the prequels' art direction wasn't perfectly Star Wars feels like folly. There's no acting in X-Wing, and what flavor text there is just waxes technical. I'm not the biggest fan of the way they introduced the ARC, but I'm happy to have the model. Wouldn't mind seeing the N-1, but I think that beyond that prequel ships belong in a parallel game, not interacting with GCW ships. The ARC article talks about how it's obsolete etc, and the stats reflect that relative to GCW ships, but it wasn't obsolete at all compared to other prequel ships. X-Wing's stats really aren't granular enough to do generations well.

So Jaina Solo won the Hasbro Black Series fan choice poll
AugustineS replied to incinerator950's topic in X-Wing Off-Topic
I agree, but at the same time Jaina over Rex is no less disgusting. but Rex is like, the second-least interesting TCW clone
