Assuming a basic level of intuitive functioning from people should never have to be a choice.

Your squint's as good as mine. My initial look when the reveal dropped was that it was a simple "PS12 during deployment" sort of thing, but checking again looks more like you treat as PS0 for that and then get some sort of focus effect or give one at Range 1 later.

Dunno how I feel about Odanan's version - I'll just rattle off things that strike me. it was never hard to hit but neither is 2 agility, and it was built like a Bolo. 2/2/4/4? for Imperial ships with minimal pilots (Phantom/Punisher/fo/sf), they definitely seem to like whole-cloth callsigns over oddly-shoehorned minor characters the torpedo slot, while fluffy, feels kind of odd to me. How about a generic Xg/1 title that functions in an Extra Munitions/Expanded Magazines sense? Would fit with the trend of auto-include titles (and parallel the TIE/* ones) and keep the mod slot open, without requiring a torp slot (which we already have the Punisher and Bomber for if necessary) I really wish they weren't limiting Tech upgrades to TFA+ships so far, because the Hyperspace Comms thingy from the Upsilon would be perfect here

No argument, but I would have preferred if Lucisney made an upgrade to the Interceptor, not line fighter. Nostalgia and fanservicing doesn't take into account military logistics and competency in the SWverse apparently. Who says they wont in the next movie...? Personally I'm kind of disappointed that the the /sf didn't have Interceptor wings. Same 2-seat cockpit and external wrap-around engine layout, same deuterium tanks ringed around the connecting struts, but those beautiful Interceptor wings. And completely removing the standard below-the-cockpit TIE lasers in favor of the whole bottom section of the ball being a combined turret assembly and missile magazine. I would have loved an update to the Advanced, similar to the Avenger. We can always dream. I just move on. Instead of the new canon books, I'm thinking of starting The Culture series. This is probably a great move, just start with Player of Games instead of whichever one's the chronological start.

Sweet, I made the news twice for the same thing... I must be doing something right! Doubly so! You keep this up and I'll just be more famous! #nevergunboat More people make the news for doing the wrong thing than the right.

You'd have to roll eyeballs first, though.

The assimetric dial is not a bad idea, but I think this ship deserves better maneuvers. (Even the lambda has more green ) Could probably give it the 2-speed turns (both in white?), it's just that everything on the dial has to have decloak factored into it, and I'm not sure it should have a green turn. Just for example, decloak+2-hard turn is essentially a 1-hard in the opposite direction, except that it ends up about a base-length behind the normal large base's 1-turn. 4: K 3: TBSBT 2: TBSBT 1: BSB

Yes it is. No they shouldn't. Find your own treethread!

try Strange Eons - it's noticeably more accurate with fonts and such. I'd suggest a reference card for large-base decloak, dropping the template to 1-straight instead of 2 so it works like the old large barrel roll. Considering that, the dial should probably be approached very carefully, maybe something like the Aggressor with nothing faster than 3-speed except a 4K. Would definitely be interesting with Juno. Is large-base 1-hard+decloak scary enough to have its only hard turns at 3? Would it have an asymmetrical dial given the off-center engine placement? Maybe: 4: K 3: TBSBT 2: BSB 1: BSB

Dude, are you ok? Every time I see one of you posts, I can't help but think you're on all the drugs. think he's addicted to the forums and needs detox looong detox

Only if they redesign it so it doesn't look like a winged dilator tyvm.

The biggest problem with introducing this into the game is they'd have to re-print all the current pilots with an aux arc. And so as we discussed on here and on at least 2 other threads in the past, it would be much easier for them to releae a specific pilot. What'd be nice is if the the Episode 8 A-wing (RZ-2?) has rotating laser cannons. That way we don't have to worry about it for every existing A-wing pilot, plus it would be a good way to distinguish the new one from the old.Again I don't see FFG revamping the A-wing as it is, but if they introduce the new model from episode 8 like the T-70 in comparison to the original x wing, (a similar ship yet different in it's own respects) we could possibly see this happening. That is, if the powers that be even decide to have rotating cannons on A-wings. Imagine an A-Wing with the same attack dice as it has now, but SLAM instead of Boost (maybe a slightly worse dial) and a title that lets it attack after SLAMming.

Ok, so you've gotten a Rebel Tie Fighter, now give us an Imperial Arc 170

Imperials have pleeeeeeenty of small ships left without resorting to prequel repaints tbh -
OP is undercover FFG...we need to vote, people! If he was undercover FFG he didn't need a poll to know the most requested ship. Maybe-YOU! (gasps)... are the undercover FFG!? (cue dramatic music). Well, people's tastes change and maybe he... uh I mean, you need ideas for Wave 13. Bet a million against that.

VERY off topic: a question regarding targeted ads

^I don't really see Sabine as badass, tho She's more like, idk, a caricature of what teenage boys think of as badass, not girls. Heck, I wouldn't have been amused as a teenager, but then I wouldn't have predicted Twilight being popular either. So glad I'm out of that demographic.

^there have got to be better ways to do that

Physics disagrees with that being airborne. It's a triumph of thrust, lift is for birds.

Horrors of copypaste, fixed. (Ahsoka's still awful tho)

Just means it's faster, which with a large base and single arc isn't the best thing. Odds are it doesn't have 1-speed green banks, maybe not even 1-speed greens at all.

It's basically 4 engines strapped to a seat. The spirit of Chuck Yaeger is strong. I'm gonna make it in KSP and report back! edit:
