... I need that Agrippa fleet in my collection...
-
There are two reasons why I don't use the original card style: I couldn't replicate it with enough quality for me to be happy and I didn't want anyone to ever come close to getting confused about what came from KDY vs FFG.
-
Oh, Lurtz - by the way: I get most of my icons from Game-icons.net, but I play with them afterwards in illustrator. I hear you on trying to condense keywords, but I chose to go with one aspect of the keyword for increased flexibility. Know that if you use KDY there is an option to NOT include the keyword rules text on a card, but it applies for ALL keywords on that card :/ ... perhaps I should change that. Vogons - this is why I added the range to my verbiage
-
So... VSD < (ISD = MC80) < Home One < SSD do I have that right? maybe, to expand on this chain: Home One < Bellator = MC80b (aka: Mon Remonda class) < SSD?
-
I would go with the verbiage of "Before you reveal a command dial, you may activate a number of squadrons at close-medium range equal to your squadron rating" edit: quick change clarifying range (don't want folks thinking you can do this anywhere on the board)
-
EDIT: I've added the range capability of your Cannons as a keyword on KDY, however, I did not include the aspect of being able to resolve crits. I decided to do it this way so that you could have a non-bomber version of cannons. If you want to achieve the original intent, combine Cannons and Bombers on a single squadron.

Cannons added, but with a slightly different icon. EDIT: I've changed cannons to increase range, but not resolve critical effects. If you want to have Cannons be the same as Lurtz printed, combine Cannons and Bomber. This offers squadron makers to have a bit more flexibility in keyword combos. Mercenaries are exactly that. Ships and characters that can be used by either side. -
I've been thinking about it, actually. It will take a fairly large overhaul, and a new card layout for upgrades, but it isn't impossible.
-
I could see upgrades that take more than one slot, too. Want this upgrade? You're going to have to burn both your Offensive and Turbolaser upgrade slots.

Acetone only works if it is ABS or an ABS/PLA hybrid. If it's pure PLA, you will need to use Ethyl Acetate. I don't think this works on Frosted-Ultra Detail because it is a UV-cured resin and not ABS or PLA.

Alternative - when people feel that their item is ready to playtest they could tag it with "Needs Playtest" - at which point it will show up here: http://kdyards.com/tagged.php?tag=Needs+Playtest -
Do you just want to tell him how you're feelin? ..... gods !@#$%

... I hate you ...

bonus - I gave him a bow, too

Oh for crying out loud... You aren't some great community leader that we will rally behind - there is no red and black flag - we aren't students on some barricade. You're upset with the announcement, fine, I get that - I disagree, but I get it. But you're talking like we are somehow obligated to launch some sort of crusade against the people who make the very game we want to play. Learn a better coping mechanism than dropping your bunnies and throwing your toys out, or I, once again, invite you to walk through the door and go chase windmills elsewhere.

Kuat Drive Yards - Armada Custom Card/Dial Maker

Alright, I've changed my mind (a little). Here's what I'm going to do. I'm adding another field to the database that is accessible to admins only that will tell us if a card is "Official", "Pre-Release" or "Homebrew" (all cards created by non-admins will be "hombrew"). This will also let us differentiate between pre-release versions of cards and post-release versions (in case things change). I will probably work on this after work tomorrow, so I ask that you still hold off for right now. I'm also considering adding a few other account types. "Artist" for example, which will give people the ability to add art to cards that aren't theirs (assuming that the owner gives permissions to do so). -
Introducing Armada Warlords: database and fleet builder

That's a pretty neat way to handle that. I might have to ponder a few things. -
I could see the Corellian Gunship as a flotilla, but not the corvette, if you are going by scale, but truthfully, the major reason that I'm against the idea is less due to scale and more to do with the function of the ship themselves. Flotilla's seem to occupy a support role so far, and granted, we only have the two, but it makes a certain amount of sense. A swarm of small ships to bustle about doing what they do. I feel like something that is primarily a combat vessel (even a small one) should have its own identity.

Guys, As I said on the latest news post on KDY, please don't let us get ahead of ourselves and start posting Wave 3 content - it's not out yet. We don't know for certain that this is the final version of the content, and I really don't want my shipyards filled up with speculation spam. We'll get there. -

What other ships might we see in Flotillas?
