  1. I am not absolutely sure, just that I know there will be at least 2 more movies, 1 each year for the next two years. Beyond that wasn't mentioned in the article I read. The origin stories I read as possibilities were Han Solo and Yoda's lives prior to the SW years, but again, I don't think the people at Disney/LF even know for sure yet what they are going to do, or they are probably right in the middle of making the next movie now, and they are famously tight-lipped about these things. But sure, Rogue Squadron and Boba Fett's origin stories are also possible, as well as ep 8. What I meant in my earlier post was that they were making AT LEAST 1 movie per year for the next two years, beyond that I haven't seen any info about, but I am sure Darth Mickey and his cronies have a long-term plan to recoup the 4 billion they spent on the franchise rights. Of course, they've nearly made a half-billion just on the opening weekend of ep 7, so it may not take as long as some of them had originally thought to achieve that goal of profitability. Also, with the gaming books, etc. rights and video games, etc. I am sure they're making money hand over fist atm, and will into the distant future.
  2. I found a random adventure generator table in my collection of SW RPG files. I have it at this link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/b5stzdkbohvcfho/Random%20Adventure%20Tables.pdf?dl=0. It is fairly comprehensive in nature, and only requires a d100 and d10 to generate a plot and several other factors to base the adventure on. Take a look, and let me know if you find it useful.
  3. Yeah, no kidding, I was reading about it, and Disney/Lucasfilm has said they plan to produce 1 movie per year over the next 2 years at least. The article went into some speculative detail about the content of those films, and the speculation didn't include the next two installments of the current new trilogy, but 2 prequel origin stories for some of the older characters. Aslo, regarding Luke's green saber crystal. I am pretty sure that if you read through the F&D Corebook, you will find that it recounts the fact that Luke used a special furnace at Obi-Wan's old hourse on Tat to create a synthetic crystal, using the Force when he created his own personal lightsaber, as used in RotJ. It also mentions that Darth Maul was forced by Darth Sidious to do the same for the 4 crystals he needed for his double-bladed saber that we saw in Phantom Menace, but that Sidious didn't make Dooku or Vader go through this process, instead he produced the synthetic crystals for them and just gave them to them to use. It also mentioned that synthetic crystals produce a stronger beam (in the case of the Sith's red ones) that could possibly "Break" a Jedi's saber blade made of Ilum.
  4. Ok, here is the shared dropbox link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/b5stzdkbohvcfho/Random%20Adventure%20Tables.pdf?dl=0 It's the only file in the box atm, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. I was looking at this, and it seems to cover several eras of play, as you might see when looking at it. Just change whichever options you don't want to use in your rolls, to whatever will fit into the era of play you are using.
  5. Ah, then I will put it in Dropbox. I am still new to these tools, google drive and dropbox, so it may take me a few tries to get it right. Sorry about that.
  6. I found a Random Adventure/Encounter generator tables document in my collection after some time of looking through the files, here is a link to the Google drive it is in: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B_79aQl2bby5dUdWWWZMbmI4UTA Hopefully you guys can access that file from this link. It only requires a d100 and d10, I think, so it should be pretty straighforward. There are no copyright notices in the file, which makes me think it is fan-generated from a previous version of the SW RPG. Let me know if you have trouble getting the file, and I will see what I can do to share it.
  7. I also, like the direction you were heading in. However, the links take me to a page that says your "blog has been removed." If you could update the link to your Google+ page, that would be great.
  8. Personally, I prefer the G9 Rigger Light Freighter. It looks different from most of the other ships, and I like the amenities it comes with (plenty of room for whole party, plus cargo room, etc.)
  9. Hey Brucewayne, You can take an older version of the SWRPG that had a system like what you are talking about, and adapt it yourself for F&D usage. All you have to do is change some of the details in the locations, mission objectives, etc. to match the melieu of this game. Or, you can sit down and actually make one for yourself. I had a similar problem a few years ago. I had no dice, but I wanted to be able to play the PnP games (sometimes as GM), so I wrote a computer program that generated chi-square values for each of the dice types. I considered doing that for EoTE, AoR and F&D, but I found out there was already one written, so I just bought it for like $4.99. Best $5.00 I ever spent. Anyway, you get the idea, right? Look through other systems' charts, get the ideas, change them up a bit fo match the content of this game, and presto! new tool for your own use. Necessity is the mother of invention, or so they say. PS I don't want to sound too harsh here, I am actually trying to be rather gentle in my language and approach to your problem. I may be doing the same as what I have just suggested above myself very soon, creating random tables to generate adventure hooks by pieces generated by random dice rolls, so I can relate to your frustration in this matter.
