It's a totally new squad builder. It does include Epic ships and the November points change.

No save button. It keeps any changes or new squads you make automatically. You select the game mode you want by clicking the box between the Squad Name and point value of the squad. Points are off because the new app has the November points change in it. Regarding the points update. All of my Hyperspace squads are now illegal.....😖

I'm logged in but when I try to access my squads on my Android phone it kicks me back to my phone's home screen. Edit: I tried logging on through the web based app via my computer and got a "The X-Wing Squad Builder is temporarily down for maintenance. We'll be right back!" Hopefully this means we'll be getting a much needed content and points update.

For the Republic I'd like to see Ahsoka Tano, Republic Commandos and Gungan/Naboo auxiliaries.

I think it's more than just 2 units of Dark Troopers (DTs). I looked at this photo of the scene. I counted 9 DTs on one wall. There were 2 walls. That give Moff Gideon 18 DTs. Figure 2-3 per unit so we're looking at 6 or 9 units of DTs. Is it Friday yet?

Ok, not who I thought they were...which is a good thing in a way. New characters instead of recycling old characters is better IMO.

Loved it. I have my suspicions on the identity of 2 of the characters in the episode but I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen this episode yet.
