    That second one could be an absolute bear. I like it. with that many 2400s, no synergy needed.

    Since Home One is part of the synergy, the 75 won’t work, unfortunately. Slaved Turrets is simply due to points, other wise I’d have Enhanced Armaments for sure. The command cruiser is more than a carrier. In this list, the Assault threw 6 unrerollable red and the command throws 5. Not a huge difference, especially when I’m looking for every point I can. I’m still testing EWS atm, but so far I haven’t faced any lists that are letting me see it’s value as I’ve been up against ECM and/or RBD will likely be the way to go. I suppose I’m in that stage where, I’ve got more possibilities to cover than I do points, so I have to look at what can I scrape by with (slaved Turrets for example).

    So, I’m continuing to have some success with this list. The latest tweeks are as follows: Ackbar v.4 (399/400) Commander: Admiral Ackbar Objectives: Advanced Gunnery, Hyperspace Assault, Solar Corona [flagship] MC80 Command Cruiser (106) swapped out the Assault Cruiser b/c wasn’t seeing much use out of EWS, didn’t think losing 1 Red at long would do that much, and liked the points savings opening up other additions like Bulkheads/Engine Techs - Admiral Ackbar (38) - Home One (7) - Electronic Counter Measures (7) - Leading Shots (4) - Strategic Adviser (4) - Engine Techs (8) added - H9 Turbolasers (8) = 182 total points Assault Frigate Mark II B (72) - Electronic Counter Measures (7) - Intel Officer (7) added, replacing SFO. With the firepower that can come out of this thing, IO just seems too natural a fit - Slaved Turrets (6) - Caitken and Shollan (6) = 98 total points MC30c Torpedo Frigate (63) - Admonition (8) - Lando Calrissian (4) - Assault Concussion Missiles (7) - Ordnance Experts (4) = 86 total points Squadrons (33/134): 1x Shara Bey A-wing Squadron (17) 1x Tycho Celchu A-Wing Squadron (16) So, what’s best in terms of handling all-comers? If I keep IO on the Guppy, I have to choose either Hardened Bullheads (nice for when they inevitably try to block) or Engine Techs (nice for preventing the block in the first place). OR, I could drop IO, and put SFO back on the Guppy and then put Bullheads and ET on the MC80. i think I’m close to having this tweeked. It’s so straightforward to fly.

    Pre game, going over my list, I pointed it out to my opponent, who didn’t give it much thought. Then, when I first grabbed those 6 rerollable reds with H1 accs, I think I distinctly saw color drain from his face.

    I agree with the AWings being necessary. Too easy to dodge otherwise. Ive been on the receiving end of the Imp version too, and it is quite potent when it works.

    So far, strategy has been to stiff arm and hit at long range as long as possible. I haven’t gotten aggressive with it yet - when/how would y’all do so?

    All very good points. It’s such a versitile platform, I can’t wait to get it. The scout upgrade was for more Ackbar and makes Opening Salvo riskier. Could easily keep as bid. ver 3 has been really fun. I feel the objectives work really well and it’s fun to fly. Not a lot of micromanaging. And good firepower at all three ranges.

    Got a clean victory with this against a light screen today. I really like the setup on the Guppy. I was 1-1 with two prior squadronless versions. Went up against Cracken with 4 Nebs and 6 AWings playing 2nd with Corona. Fell back and drew him in and did some good arc dodging with Admo. Only lost Tycho and got 2 of his Nebs. Good times!     Yeah, I’m just testing EWS to see what it does. ECM is generally my go to. Same with the twins and slaves turrets. DTT is cheaper, but I wanted to see how much damage 4 re-rollable reds can put out. First test was surprisingly good - but reds are always going to be reds.
