Hot on her heels comes Soryn, feeling the unmistakable pull of the Force surrounding each of the Padawans, and more so Dera as she begins to do something. Everything seems about as well manned as it can be, to the Pau'an, not that he is very familiar with the crewing of ships. It appeared that the Togrutan, Tessrah, was an able leader and happy to take charge of things, if not a little too eager to be charging into a blaster line. "Perhaps it would be best if you had more than one 'dance partner', when facing numerous opponents? I feel a little ill at ease standing by and watching combat. Plus, I know very little of operating spacecraft. May I assist your endeavours on the ground, Padawan Tessrah?"

Woo, at least we're in the clear down there.

With the sudden jolt from the ship colliding with something, Soryn loses his footing and smacks hard into one of the bulkheads of the corridor. Righting himself, he shakes off the impact and assesses himself. "No cause for concern, though I am now slightly more convinced we're not going to have a smooth landing," he mutters, before calling out, "Dera, are you alright? I get the feeling we will need to be somewhere more secure come the cras... Err... Landing... Of this vessel. Does anyone need assistance on your side? Mine seems clear thus far."

I'm keen to play it out. Might meet some great NPCs onboard; either on the bridge or in the crew quarters.

Unless we know the layout the ship already, you may end up having to roll a Mechanics check, or a Knowledge (Other? maybe) set by Rayakados to know this immediately. Otherwise searching things out may take a post or three.

She had asked me to fetch her some light refreshments as she worked on some project or other, so being the diligent student I am, I headed to the dining hall and asked the students staffing it to provide me with something befitting her," he pauses here, checking to see if the other Padawans are engaged and wondering if any of them had heard of this ill fated errand already. "I assumed that they, being good students too, would give me something adequate, and did not question the platter and cup they gave me. So I returned to Master Nu, and sat nearby reading a treatise on Herglic customs as she ate. Suddenly she stood and rushed off. I paid it no mind, assuming she was late for something else." The dark red fabric of his cloak shifts and Soryn fidgets with his hands, suddenly finding it difficult to recount the last part of the story. "It was not until the next day I found out that Master Nu had been the victim of a prank, involving medicine for... Refresher difficulties... When she called me into her office and demanded an explanation. In spite of my ignorance, and more importantly, innocence, I received punishment in the form of shelving and cleaning one thousand holodocuments."

"Come now," Soryn says with a light tone, "We've all just been in hyperspace aboard a rather spartan ship for a little too long. It's a good thing we'll be reaching our destination soon, I think we could all do with some fresh air." Spreading his hands wide, he continues, "One wonders what you have all learned in your time at the Temple? Does anyone have any stories that will fill the time before we arrive?"

Hands clasped behind his back, his lightsaber hanging from his belt, the lean Pau'an regards the other Padawans in the room, and smiles slightly before continuing, showing pointed and jagged teeth. "People tend to take notice when a Jedi enters a situation, and this particular situation spans a number of worlds. I, for one, relish the chance to train in something more... Practical."

Hi guys, So I've been using Oggdude's, and I recently acquired a lightsaber and wanted to mod it with superior for that sweet, sweet native advantage. However when I "equip it" in the character generator it shows my dice as 1Y2G + 1adv. The saber does not have superior. I have +80 Morality, but that is just for Light Side points at the start of game right? Why does my saber show an advantage? I've removed it and added a different one, same thing. Help!

As of Keeping the Peace there is a Cyclic Crystal Array mod that allows 2 (and with a further mod, 3) lightsaber crystals in one saber. It only costs 2 HP

"I want to be invincible with no way around it." Sorry. As the GM, my priority one is making sure a player doesn't get away with this sort of cheese. The GM did this to the players as well though. He's set the precedent for his NPCs, so we wanted to fight fire with fire, as it were. Vehicle Weapons will turn you into a pink stain, regardless of whether or not you have the Cortosis quality applied to your entire body and everything you carry. Oh? I thought Cortosis meant immune to Breach as well so even vehicle weapons don't do much.

Let's say someone is wearing a specific piece of gear, like that one necklace that makes them Cortosis for everything. I want to wear one, but don't want it knocked off me, or Sundered as a way for the GM to get around my ultimate powers. That's what I want to avoid, so any advice?

It being keyed off Discipline is the biggest argument against Reflect working on it. Pg. 301. "Once the power is activated, if the target of the power suffers a hit from a blaster shot, Force power, lightsaber, or other energy attack before the beginning of the user’s next turn." And then there's the Control Upgrade that just makes it work against everything. Thanks for the page ref, I don't have access to the book all the time so that helps a lot!

So after reading everything I could, Unleash says to make a Ranged Combat check using discipline. I would argue that it makes it a reflectable thing. PLUS Protect says REDUCE DAMAGE FROM AN ENERGY BASED WEAPON, not a Force Power or ranged attack using slugs, missiles etc. So if anything this is more evidence Reflect can be used.
