Question: Do the parts Khit just found include kyber crystals, or will we still need to track those down to make functioning lightsabers?
Or even Training Emitter parts?
Training emmiter parts yes, crystals no, but, you could look in the big beast behind you, based on a hunch that Wale has.

Is there still the Mentor benefit at the moment? and there was discussion earlier of the 5xp FP upgrades being free with that Mentor, is that still the case?
Yep, as so long as you have contact with my animal companion, which we will have to wait for.
-
yes it does

Strain recovery post-wave 3: 1eA+2eP 2 successes, 1 advantageRecovered most of Naught's strain. Are we spending XP?Yes, I have already done so.
-
Ok here goes
Athletics check: 2eA+1eP+2eB+1eF+4eD 4 successes, 1 Triumph, 2 Light Side
I dont just move that thing, we toss itThat and you find something under it, enough parts to build sabers for everyone, of any type you so choose with one additional attachment, two in my case as I already have the parts to build a double saber. That was your Triumph, the successes flip it like a toy car.

"Well, that's embarrassing, I forgot to set the recoil mechanisms, the cannon flipped, you, with the Lightsaber, could you try cutting some of the crap around me away?" Wale yells, too embarrassed to panic.

Three Word Story.

Ok. whats the difficulty for the check?
4 purple, if you don't succeed I take 5 wounds.
-
My normal pool is AAP, with a couple of boost from assistance it could be possible, depending on what your interpretation is of the difficulty
Well its a 2 ton thing, to lift it enough would require two people assisting, that would an Athletics check unmodified, everyone else passes boost dice to the check maker. And I'm OK with learning as we go as we get 45 XP from that series of encounters.
Woo hoo, new specialization (Ataru Striker) and rank 5 Ranged Heavy.

Ahhh, you will be fine, just walk it off...!!!
(Do you have the talent "It's not that bad?")
Richardbuxton reacted to this -
Lol. that was easy
glad it didn't land a hit though, could have been much worse. Does it break apart into like 1000 tiny snakes? No, but I'm stuck under a 2 ton gun. I need some help.

Blaster cannon again aiming twice, taking strain: 2eA+1eP+2eB+1eD 5 successes, 1 threat
Well the cannon fell apart, leaving me trapped under it, it was a miracle it shot twice, but

Gunner is not needed with FCS.
List looks much better, kiilakan. The quoted statement is true between 4-5 dice, target lock and possibly focus your odds of ever using the gunner here are all but non existent. Dropping down to either a Rebel captive or recon specialist could give you a 2 pt bid if you did nothing else. You could go down to intelligence agent opening up 4 pts drop one of the aces the stealth device on the other and now you have room for Vader or Soonter Fel.
Would love to have Vader or Fel, but I don't own either, I just played the list and every time I shot I missed, Gunner allowed for the second shot, with a target lock, to actually hit.

This sounds like a lot of fun. Anyone interested in a top gun tournament on vassal?
Would if I had Vassal.

from star wars.

I got the list now, I'm tired.

Jake from State Farm does a PTL focus double and re-positions like a madman.
Tycho is a arc dodger with decent defense.
Keyan Stresses or target locks, firing the cannon or the Torps.
Does this list do well in a tournament?

If you strain both rounds I think you can get to short in two rounds. Is that right? If so, you could be there at the end of the next round.
EDIT: Also, badass plan to bind it! Nice thinking.
You get two maneuvers each round, you take strain when you take two maneuvers and an action.

"What's that under it?" Wale asks, picking up a small, finger sized generator, the word Stygium printed on it's side, "looks like a Styguim Generator, not big enough to disguise a person, but with these parts I collected earlier..." he fiddles around with the scraps he collected and ends up with a saber hilt with two emitters wrapped around the generator and extra long, he hits a switch and the hilt vanishes, he presses it again and it comes back, "Nice, now I need a crystal. Hey Larik, can I borrow your lightsaber, I got a gut feeling!!!"
