  1. why in god's name would you want to bring that awful bit of boring back onto the table?

also no. Ghost would've been the expac for it (assuming all the crew from Misthunter + Jumpmaster are going to follow in Bossk's "scum only" footsteps) and it didn't bring anything for the yt-1300, thankfully

    falcon's dead; TLTs killed it

    honestly, good riddance.

You sir, are an awful person for saying that, Chewie and the falcon forever!!

  2. This list needs a name and criticism. For it is my sibling's creation, it is 100 points.

    Kath Scarlet

    • shield upgrade
    • deadeye
    • heavy laser cannon
    • proximity mines
    • mercenary copilot
    • Slave 1
    • proton torpedoes

    Rexler Brath

    • shield upgrade
    • determanation
    • ion cannon
    • proton rockets

    Obsidian squadron pilot

  3. Just working with the ships I got modified it like this (replaced luke with gunner and veteran instincts with push the limit, we changed up our lists). I've seen this work well vs this list

  4. I would drop Luke. He's very expensive and doesn't really do much to justify costing two more points than Gunner. I would also switch Veteran Instincts for either Stay On Target or Push the Limit to keep Keyan stressed. I'm not entirely sold on the Ion Cannon, but I rarely use them so I might be underestimating how useful it is. I always use HLC or go without a cannon when I use B-Wings, but that's just me.

On Tycho I would drop Shield Upgrade and use Test Pilot to give him Expert Handling or Daredevil.

My opponent already had the copy of Gunner otherwise I would use it but the other one is not bad the ion cannon is for battlefield controll. :P

Dropping the shield upgrade to get something I don't have is not an option.

  5.

I could see a house rule where a power weapon could theoretically  work breaking the arms/tentacles/claws dealing 1d10 damage to whichever appendage had attacked, which may or may not break the arm/tentacle/claw.

Sure, but you have to keep in mind that this pushes the balancing in favor of the KT.

Only in so far as the Game Master doesn't have an unlimited pile of enemies that he can draw from thin air at a moment's notice.

It's still silly when they parry-destroy your Hive Tyrant's Scything Talons.

Excellent point. What about things like Relic Blades? Those are powerful enough to cleave through ordinary Power Weapons.

That would also work in the manner I described possibility doing 1d10+5 damage

  6. I have an idea for a Brighthammer setting which allows the Imperium to mainly focus on 4 things, the Orks, the Necrons, the Tyrinads, and the Forces of Chaos. So we got the idea to add in each of the different races but got no idea where to start. Orks are in this case working on both sides of the divide so stats for them would be helpful. Dark Eldar are a pain to everyone so don't make them unless your making them as an enemy type. This group would be very helpful.

  7. To get an artificer armour, you need Signature Wargear (Hero). The talent's description doesn't say whether it needs to be a completely new one or an upgrade, although Signature Wargear (Master) specifically allows upgrades.

I'd say it's up to your interpretation as a GM - in my case a Techmarine's armour would definitely stay the same as he painstakingly reworks and upgrades his own suit, but not so much in a different Marine's case, where they usually get a relic off the shelf or altar, and not a re-work - just as Kamikazzijoe says. Note, however, that Rites of Battle explicitly allows the player to choose both the mark and the history of the Power Armour with the GM's blessing (RoB, pp. 152-153), so in your example your player might opt to take a different Mark VI suit with new histories, or even the same suit with one additional history rolled.

This should have a good in-universe reason, like the player did a favour to the Armamentarium, and the Master of the Forge owes him one so he upgrades the suit, or some Captain pulls some strings to get the same Mark for him from the armoury, but ultimately whether you choose to introduce the new item as a replacement or as an upgrade has nothing to do with RAW.

Terminator armour is a whole different beast - you can't get it as a Signature Wargear, as it costs 100 Req, so it's definitely rolling (or, again, choosing) something new.

Terminator Armour is not 100 Req as is explained on pg 164 "...when Requisitioning Terminator armour, the Battle Brother pays the 60 Requisition Points for the armour itself and then must spend a minimum of 40 Requisition Points to arm it."

On pg 126 Sig Wargear Hero states "Select from the Armoury (excluding unusual ammunition) with a Requisition cost of 70 or less." Thus putting Terminator armour on the list of items that can be selected with Sig Wargear Hero, all you have to do is put 40 Req worth of stuff on it, otherwise you can't use it.

  8. Which statistic generator are you talking about though? Tricky's Character Sheet Generator? Also, bear in mind that (while I'm not a math wizard) if you use 2d10, the two extreme ends (2 and 20) are actually statistically less likely to occur than the numbers in the middle range. You don't roll a d20 in DW during chargen, you roll 2d10.

WADDAYA MEAN THA TWOS R RARE I CAN'T SEEM TO ROLL NUFFING BUT TWOS! THIS CALLS FO A WAAAGGH!!!

  9. The Shepard lives ending requires a total point level over 5000 which could not have been done without multiplayer/app. Also needed to choose red ending.

The red ending is not the best ending of the bunch, honestly it is the worst of the 3 possible original endings due to the genocide of the Geth and almost downright murder of EDI, who which you may or may not have nurtured a relationship between her and Joker. IT IS NOT THE BEST ENDING BECAUSE SHEPARD LIVES PEOPLE, GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEADS YOU IMMORAL, HASTY AND SELFISH PEOPLE.
