  1. VCX gets Disabled Power Coupling as a crit.  Next round the VCX gets a ion token. However, since 3 ions are needed to ionize a large base ship, nothing happens until next round. 

    Could this scenario keep going until the VCX gets 3 ion tokens and clears them the ion effect? 



  2. By 2 cent bet is the Bwing and Ywing will be unaltered.  Resistance isn’t really in a place with dry docks and repair ships flying around.  Similar to that episodes in Rebels, find the ship and fly it.  


    So in game: am guessing no changes to the frames, just different pilots. 

  3. Just saw an interview with Jon Favreau about Mandalorian. 

    He makes a comment, “we even have the gun with a fork in it that you see Boba Fett using the first time we see him”

    OMG OMG OMG A Director that pays attention to lore!!!!!  Pays attention to details!!! I’m soooooooo hyped about this show.

    I'm not actually a believer in autoblaster on B-Wings. They have a three dice attack naturally. The only advantage would be for out of arc shots, hoping to float a critical through. You're banking a lot on getting those bullseye attacks (Marksmanship,) out of arc. You might be that good, but with so many repositioning aces you're not likely to get much value for those upgrades. I'd drop the autoblasters, and yeah, I agree with @Magnus Grendel, tractor beams make better trades.



    If not running Bwing aces, keep them light a cheap.  Put something else on the field that is a juicer target and watch the Bwings shine.  (Good ol’ hammer-n-anvil trick)

    Looks good. I wouldn't necessarily change anything. Some people will tell you not to do shield upgrade on Wedge, but a player just recently won a HST here (47 people) with Lando, Thane, Norra,  and had hull updrades on all three. Just fly it well. Good Luck!

    What about shield upgrade vs stealth device?

  6. Going to attend my first hyperspace trials later this month.  I  am a very casual player and tend to gravitate to themed lists, but not sold on it. I’d rather have a list I enjoy to fly than what the most popular is.

    I thought of different ways to use the maneuver tool to perform different repositions much like how the S-loop and t-rolls just use the standard maneuver template in a different way to act as a unique maneuver (but nothing that flips a ship around). On thing that came up was an oblique which instead of angling the template at 30 degrees keep it straight and then just slide it in to the bank slot so it moves at an angle (but does not rotate). The other idea was a double bank which allows it to rotate at a 60 degree turn (since huge ship banks were at 30 degrees).

    Fo and resistance reusing existing models made sense, but clone wars tech is much older designs.

    I would guess no.  Epic in 1st edition was a second thought, like trying to build with left over LEGO pieces.  

    Now, it seems like it is made just like all other ships. With thoughts, love, testing and movie watching.

    Huge ships with multiple actions AND focus!?!

    The shield thing is real, but R2-D2 gets you back a shield every round, so you'll always be able to spend one.

    Oh holy ****!  I see the problem now.  Essentially being able to PICK a 1 bank or  straight maneuver ever turn, after everyone else AND have an action AND rotate the turret.  Wow. 


    Guess the plan is to point ALL your guns at it and don’t stop shooting.

    Hmmm.... I’m sorry, but I am slow. How does this work?  I see you can choose from performing the selected maneuver or the stop.  How can you boost off the stop? You are stressed and possibly 1 less shield.  


    Also, what are the two precious choices?—nvm!  I figured this one  (sorry)

  12. Current system seems best, for ease and quickness of use. 


    We could use a Dungeon&Dragins system:  Everyone rolls a D6 dice and then adds their skill/initiative to it plus stress plus range plus flanking plus other stuff. Be the most accurate but really slow the game down.
