  1. You're playing on a seriously undersized table if you're having trouble fitting all your cards on it.
  2. I can walk into any game store in the country and know that there will be card sleeves, binders, and storage options readily available for industry-standard card sizes. That was never the case with the mini-card sizes. Few places have sleeves and binders for the small cards on the shelves, and most often they'd have to be special ordered in. On a personal note, I also enjoy seeing the card art at a larger size. Plus, it makes it a bit easier to see exactly what upgrades my opponent has across the table.
  3. Minor inconvenience ruins Armada player's entire life. More at 11.
  4. 'Twas the day of release, and all through the city Not a shipment arrived. Oh what a pity! The players showed up to the game store with care, Only to find that Clone Wars wasn't there! There arose from the store such a disappointed clatter, That the manager came out to address the matter. "We've waited for months, how could this be?" "It's not our fault, blame Asmodee!" So the players went home, Clone Wars would come later. For now they settled for Tabletop Simulator.
  5. Thanks. We were so rushed to try and figure out the answer, we didn't even think to double check the actual rulebook.
  6. I'm only worried about this move because there's no telling what (if anything at all) will change. Will Armada and X-Wing expansions still be pre-painted and pre-assembled? Will expansion releases change in any way? Will the FFG Star Wars forums stay open? Ect. I hope more information comes out soon before panic and rumors start flying. Atomic Mass Games are the ones who made the Marvel: Crisis Protocol miniatures game, which I've heard is pretty successful? It feels like every time I walk into the game store there's a new expansion released for that game. I've also heard they're pretty good at communicating with the community.
  7. Sorry if this question has been asked before but I can't find a clear answer anywhere so far. In our most recent Tabletop Simulator game of Rebellion in the Rim, the Rebels attacked an Imperial Base that had the Fighter Wing base defense objective. We noticed that the wording on the RitR version of the card differed from the Corellian Conflict version. The question that came up has two parts, but both should have a similar answer: 1. Do the squadrons added by the Fighter Wing base defense count as points for the opponent if they're destroyed? The RitR version doesn't make this clarification like the CC version did. 2. Do the 40 points of squadrons count towards the Defending player's fleet point total when determining how many Experience Points players get at the end of the match (referring to the point difference between fleets for extra XP)?
  8. So what I'm hearing is that the overall cost of strike teams will stay the same, just with a kind of points flop on the heavy weapon and strike team unit. So... everyone will continue to take strike teams as a cheap activation and ignore the full unit?
