  1. Every single game when I have a ship that receives Damaged Cockpit, I at least once forget I have it during the planning phase and end up blocking myself.
  2. There are more Ahsokas and Captain Rexes than Academy Pilots and Black Squadron Pilots. That's awful and hilarious. The Empire really needs some help. They're in a similar position to how we were back when the Jumpmaster first came out.
  3. At first I thought it looked basically identical to the Rebel A-Wing, but no, it just looks very similar to the Ralph McQuarrie A-Wing. Whatever's the case, I'm stoked for more A-Wing stuff.
  4. The main issue with the Tractor Beam is that it barely affects large ships, which also happen to be the best ships right now.
  5. To be fair, Rebels have the same issue; you got the Falcon, the Outrider, the Ghost, and turret Y-Wings, K-wings, and HWKs.
  6. The thing is, Leia easily spends more time on the Millennium Falcon than any other ship in the movies. So why is her crew card useless in 100 point games where you can field the Millennium Falcon?
  7. It's only a problem for durability buffs. You can buff the X-Wing in many other ways.
  8. The symbol indicates it has auxillary firing arcs in addition to its primary firing arc, allowing it to shoot anywhere in a 180 frontwards arc. The first ship in X-Wing to have this was the YV-666.
  9. 4x Kashyyk Defenders with Wookie Commandos seems like a hilarious nightmare for swarms.
  10. The idea of Wookie Commandos is it gives you actionless dice modification on attack while keeping costs cheap. Being a double crew slot instead of an EPT slot means it can go on the low-cost generic. Reinforce is a purely defensive action, unlike Focus, so Wookie Commandos allows you to Reinforce and still have modified dice on offense. A Kashyyk Defender with Wookie Commandos is just 25 points.
  11. Rebels do have that ship. It's called the E-Wing, and it's useless outside of Corran Horn.
  12. I'm actually totally fine with more TLTs, even if I don't play Imperials. They're wonderful list filler. While quad TLTs can be rough, they're also easy to counter. Only part that bothers me is that this is another example of the factions becoming less distinct... But that ship sailed a long time ago.
  13. Wookies? WOOKIES! Two Rebel ships? TWO REBEL SHIPS! Cad Bane? CAD BANE! Legends stuff? LEGENDS STUFF! Imperial turret? IMPERIAL TURRET! This wave is awesome.
  14. People were saying that about the ace meta too with stuff like Soontir with a token stack, Stealth Device, Autothrusters, and Palpatine reroll tanking through massed fire.
  15. The cannon's basically useless for Rebels anyway. B-Wings already have 3 dice, YT-2400s are too expensive to use it on.
  16. The best way to do Imperial Astromechs is to has them as crew cards (Like Chopper), since we see them purely as crew on large ships in most Star Wars media. Maybe give them Astromech-style abilities like shield/damage regeneration.
  17. It's been a thing since 1977.
  18. That's not really true though. Look at the top Rebel lists pre-FAQ; Miranda/Dash doesn't use Biggs, triple K-Wings doesn't use Biggs. And unlike Palpatine, there hasn't really been a time where people were asking "Would this be better with Biggs?" Worlds 2015 and 2016 had plenty of Rebel lists, most without Biggs. Even with U-Boats, it wasn't "Would this be better with Biggs", it was "Can this actually survive without Biggs?"
  19. I'm gonna be honest. I don't understand the way people talk about Biggs as this huge menace. The guy has a strong ability, but he has never warped the game in the same way many other ships have, nor is he the type of ship that leads to boring or unfun games. With all the hype, you'd think Integrated Astromech would have broken X-Wing and not the Jumpmaster 5000. He's not even comparable to Palpatine. Palpatine was for much time an auto-include in Imperial Lists because he was so good. Biggs was an auto-include in Rebel lists at one recent point too... Because they literally couldn't function without him against triple Jumpmaster lists.
  20. Manaroo went from best support ship in the game to pretty awkward. Though she's still a Jumpmaster 5000, so she can't be that bad.
  21. I keep thinking the best way to deal with an E-Wing fix is to make it prevent you from taking an Astromech that costs 4 or more. Since R2-D2 is the only Astromech that costs 4 or more, the Corran problem is solved; R5-P9 doesn't get used on Corran in my experience.
  22. Man, it's crazy how the Punishing One expansion introduced so many tournament dominating cards. Contracted Scout, Dengar pilot, Manaroo, Attani Mindlink, Overclocked R4... Feels like the meta since Wave 8 has been based around countering stuff from Punishing One, even after the nerfs to U-Boats.
