  1. Has anyone seen stock anywhere of the Dreamchaser Cycle in the UK stores? Ive looked but nothing seems to have made its way over the pond. It was in stores on FFG website but no one seems to have stock.....even in the US the reprints have sold out on FFG's website on a few packs. Its seriously frustrating for a completionist :p I see that the Darrowdelf and Against The Shadows Cycle is on the boat but not holding out for any hope on these making it to UK stores either
  2. I had some success with this list (no longer legal but you could always move Screed to Demo) The Intel Officer on everything really forces loads of decisions on the opponent. Faction: Galactic Empire Points: 382/400 Commander: Admiral Screed Assault Objective: Most Wanted Defense Objective: Hyperspace Assault Navigation Objective: Dangerous Territory Arquitens-class Light Cruiser (54 points) - Intel Officer ( 7 points) - Dual Turbolaser Turrets ( 5 points) = 66 total ship cost Gladiator I-Class Star Destroyer (56 points) - Demolisher ( 10 points) - Intel Officer ( 7 points) - Ordnance Experts ( 4 points) - Engine Techs ( 8 points) - Assault Concussion Missiles ( 7 points) = 92 total ship cost Gozanti-class Cruisers (23 points) = 23 total ship cost Arquitens-class Light Cruiser (54 points) - Intel Officer ( 7 points) - Dual Turbolaser Turrets ( 5 points) = 66 total ship cost [ flagship ] Gozanti-class Cruisers (23 points) - Admiral Screed ( 26 points) = 49 total ship cost 1 Colonel Jendon ( 20 points) 1 Valen Rudor ( 13 points) 1 Maarek Steele ( 21 points) 1 Ciena Ree ( 17 points) 1 Zertik Strom ( 15 points)
  3. I've actually painted one of my ISD's as the Errant Venture. Would need to design a suitable card to enable play it as a Rebel ISD in a casual game. Here is the link to how it came out initially. Moved on a bit since then as added more shading and highlighting but its currently in shipping (moving country)so cant give an updated picture....but you get the idea.
  4. 2nd this. Great tournament as always and 4 fun competitive games with great opponents. Thanks Florian for the organising and to Warboar for hosting.
  5. If we doing no commander and just anti starfigher then for the Rebels I would go with this. 1 Tycho Celchu ( 16 points) 1 Shara Bey ( 17 points) 1 Ten Numb ( 19 points) 1 Wedge Antilles ( 19 points) 1 "Dutch" Vander ( 16 points) 1 Corran Horn ( 22 points) 1 Dash Rendar ( 24 points)
  6. I actually just started them again myself......and also they are every bit as good as I remember
  7. Yeah you absolutely punished me in that game mate.....and Yavaris surviving that extra turn really hurt. In hindsight I should have been less aggressive with the ISD1 and chipped at the squadrons a little bit from a distance first......but I took the gamble. I think your write up above is a fair reflection of the game and you flew your list brilliantly and stuck to your gameplan. Thanks for being a great opponent. Aside from the battering I really enjoyed our game. When you were considering switching targets from the injured Avenger to the ISDII flagship, I was kinda hoping you would as it would have allowed me the Avenger double arc hit on the MC80 and possibly allowing me to repair.....but you didn't fall for it. Haha. Great job.
  8. That was against me mate.....was a great trade....for you. Haha That Interdictor took ages to go down!!! Devastator was amazing with no defense tokens. He was literally devastating. Thanks for an enjoyable and challenging game.
  9. I heard Ben was flying his same list from Euros....if you can dredge that up. Think ISD, 4 Goz and squadron heavy. Winner was a rebel squadron heavy fleet with 4 GR75, Pelta and Yavaris IIRC. Was all over by turn 3
  10. Nope not true. Final's are to be played today. I may be wrong but I don't there is an MC80 in the finals at all Heading down layer so can confirm lists
  11. Lunch......we might have time for lunch....if we only have 4 rounds If we have 5 rounds there is no such thing. Last year it was round after round only finishing up at around 23:30 Bring water, snacks and headache tablets. Haha
  12. Chaps just been looking into the timing and I don't reckon we will be able to get this done. Unfortunately nothing opens up earlier than 8 and with kickoff of Game 1 at 9.00 I don't reckon we will be able to do sit down breakfast. We will need to register (also extra security checks) and then actually get set up and stuff. Esdevium have also recommended to give extra time to register and get into the venue. So may need to cancel the sit down portion of this. They do breakfast muffins or buttys to go so will be doing that instead and then heading down to the arena. On the other hand we could do this on the Saturday morning if anyone is up for that........considering the final only kicks off at 10.30 and side events start at 12.00
  13. If its 5 rounds then they will do it on the same day.....just like last year. Warning! Its brutal on the knees and brain. Good luck for those flying MSU or huge squadrons balls. haha Also whether its a 4 or 5 round day there will only be a top 2 cut to Saturday. The emails that went out were making sure that those who had purchased multiple tickets send through the participant names to Esdevium so it helps speed up registration.
  14. I think we will leave it as the Pump House. Shout out if you're keen to come through. Will be there for 8am opening time
  15. Kinda off topic to a degree as this does not include tournament play, but a while back we did a couple of big games in Corellian Conflict and without Corellian Conflict, and we used variable turns. Just the roll of the dice....wow was it fun. Tides of the battle turned dramatically and seemed a bit more realistic that way (ebb and flow of a battle) But obviously this is without objectives and so cant really be considered for tournament play. Just wanted to share that for casual play this is a great way to have fun in large scale battles. But on topic all the above are valid points......1st player is a big boost but if you are going 2nd then take objectives that will make it very hard for the opponent to benefit from. You either HAVE to go first with your list....then you bid for that as stupidly as you wish.....but if you don't, then build and practice for going 2nd....and if you get 1st player its just a bonus. Talking about mad bids, one of my mates went to a local tournament with a 378 point fleet needing to go first.....was outbid in his 1st game with a 276 build fleet......didn't turn out so well having pretty much relied on 1st player. Its a chance you take
