The Jedi Philosophy has very little in common with the Samurai and the Bushido Code actually, but a lot to do with ancient (non-political) Shintoism.
The lives of Samurai and the "code" which is a late idealised version of it, is very much family and clan centered. The Jedi Philosophy is not.
The Samurai does not vow himself to an ideal but to individuals, his lord(s). And his lord does not vow himself to an ideal neither but to the pursuit of power and influence.
The Samurai does not care to kill, the Jedi does. Both don't fear to die, but not for the same reason : for the samurai it is a matter of doing your duty, for the Jedi it is a matter of death not being an end at all. The Samurai does not value life, hence why. Jedi do value life above all else.
And so on...

New terrain project here, of a green world.
I just thought I would start by the trees. So here are the first two ones. They were supposed to be roughly the same size but then one is really bigger than the other. Nevermind, I’m doing a lot of those guys so there will be plenty of these size differences.
I really enjoyed doing it, it’s lot of fun. And I know the next ones will be better, I understood a few things while doing them.

I have the feeling I’m getting better at the stripes on the trees. They look more and more natural imo.
I will do a couple of fallen trees also to confer some light cover. That and an adaptable river, a swamp, some small hills and some pieces of rock... 😊
I also got some small mushrooms on greenstuff world, will look good at the base of the trees !
 

How would the Resistance and the First Order be significantly different enough from the Rebels and the Empire ? Scum and Villainy do make sense on the other hand, as others have already pointed out.
About AT-RT in the Republic Army, I'm already there 😂 ! It's easy to convert. Same goes for the Heavy Blaster Team.
There won't be a generic Jedi Knight for the Republic Army, there are so many named (and beloved) Jedis to use ! Many here have named quite a few we all want to be able to play.
For the Separatists, you can scrap the Mandalorian Death Watch, it will be IG-100 MagnaGuards without a doubt.

I’m happy with 18 meters long. Problem is there is not only the length but the width of the vehicule that is a problem. The wings are really huge, and take a lot of place. Can we bear to have a vehicule that is (for example, not precise measures) 30cm long and 30cm wide ?
I love the LAAT, but man it’s too big if not downsized.

I want to see the Senate Guard, I love their "praetorian" outfit !
I also want to see Geonosians and other Conferedation races to complement the droids.
I want to see Shaak Ti, a long-time favourite of mine. And generally speaking, I hope we see more racial diversity for commanders and operatives.
And nobody mentionned him, but I'm sure he is in all our hearts... I want to see Master Yoda on the field !!!

I do have a 4 players scenario, where there is a Laser battery at the middle of the field, and whoever controls it can use it at the start of the turn. I use the stats of the Rebel 1.4 FD Laser Cannon, and it works amazingly !

Air-Dry Clay ! So all you have to do is mold, you don't have to put it in the oven afterwards, you just let it dry for 2 days.
It cost me 20€ to have a huge quantity of it. Enough for maybe 15 of these babies. Creating them is very fun and I'm learning a lot by doing it. It takes me roughly 40 minutes per tree. So it's a win-win : it costs almost nothing, and I got to learn / experiment. Next step, I want to try to mold some statues... now that will be challenging !!!
I had no prior experience with clay nor with terrain building (so anyone can do it!), and although the result can of course be bettered, I'm really really happy with it, it really stands out on the table !
The plus side : the trees are realistic dimension-wise. The small trees always bottered me.
