  4. I'm playing around with some variations for BBBB list. I took a Blue + Accuracy Corrector x4 list into a store tournament, and went 2 and 2. It might have been better, but I made a stupid move in my third game that took any chance of a win. I flew this list last night and won both. Bee Target Mangler (100) Blue Squadron Pilot — B-Wing 22 Fire-Control System 2 Ship Total: 24 Blue Squadron Pilot — B-Wing 22 Fire-Control System 2 Ship Total: 24 Blue Squadron Pilot — B-Wing 22 Fire-Control System 2 Ship Total: 24 Blue Squadron Pilot — B-Wing 22 Fire-Control System 2 "Mangler" Cannon 4 Ship Total: 28 What about this as an option? I'm not super convinced that Mangler adds as much. Is the second target lock better than turning a single hit to crit, and taking away the range 3 bonus on one ship. Badger
  5. excellent point on cobras ability, I think I was reading it wrong or just spacing out. I reworked it bit to give Kavil auto blaster and engine upgrade to get him in there quicker. had to give up predator but that's probably ok.   6. Playing around with some Scum variations. Came up with this one. Latts stripping away the agility dice, and Cobra/Kavil pounding away with all those dice. Tactics wise I could see 3 ships not in a very loose formation with Talonbane and Latts hanging back, since Latts ability doesn't seem to be range dependent so he can hang back with Cobra to use his ability. Meanwhile Kavil is pushing forward and trying to flank. Pro: stripping agility and extra attack dice Con: Kavil having to be forward unsupported.   7. Thinking of building another B-wing heavy list, but not sure how well they are doing in the new meta. Our last store tournament was heavy with Swarms, and 3 ship imperial builds with arc-dodgers. I see TLT heavy builds rising in popularity as well on the weekly game nights. With the new Meta, do lists like the one below stand a chance? I have a bad habit of switching lists all the time, so I want to try and focus on one list for a while, and actually get some wins for a change. I want to run something like: Accurate Swarm of B's (100) Blue Squadron Pilot — B-Wing 22 Accuracy Corrector 3 Ship Total: 25 Blue Squadron Pilot — B-Wing 22 Accuracy Corrector 3 Ship Total: 25 Blue Squadron Pilot — B-Wing 22 Accuracy Corrector 3 Ship Total: 25 Blue Squadron Pilot — B-Wing 22 Accuracy Corrector 3 Ship Total: 25 Or possibly a BBBAA if I can't borrow my son's B-Wing. badger
  8. I ran this list in our monthly store tournament, and lost every game. (Keep in mind I don't tend to win much, and I am still learning a lot with every game) HOWEVER, that has more to do with my skill as a pilot than anything else. I didn't a chance to play it in casual last week, so I was cold and didn't know what I was doing till the end. 1st Game - I set it up poorly, and Kavil was out of the fight for most of it. Plus he had Echo, it was a slaughter. 2nd Game - I set up better, and accounted for myself much better. I lost again, but due to some bad luck and poor flying. 3rd Game - MUCH better. My opponent had a 3 ship imperial with Echo, and I had all his ships down to 1 point. Just slightly better luck, and I would have wiped him. It was a good game, and I felt much better. 4th Game - still lost, but I felt like i was just starting to understand how to fly the group of ships. Oddly enough the Banana Zeds (Z95) were really effective. I was rolling 2 hits every time with them, it was pretty crazy. The Kirahaz ended up being a great decoy, however you spell or pronounce it, I ended up calling it Siracha by the end of the game because no one said it the same way twice. All in all it was a fun list to fly. As far as changes go, I would either lose the TLT, or double up on it. One TLT alone was not enough to make a difference. Two TLT Y's, and Kavil would probably do really well. badger

I was thinking this would be entertaining: Syndicate Thug (25) x 4 Y-Wing (18), Autoblaster Turret (2), Unhinged Astromech (1), Engine Upgrade (4) The damage isn't as guaranteed as TLT's but the hits are unavoidable... and the idea of four unhinged, boosting, Y-Wings makes me giggle. My store this is all they run, I'm actually trying to avoid this list. badger

  12. Trying to build out a list in the new meta. My attempt to bring back the x-wing failed miserably, but then the two beers and bad flying had a large contribution to my night of fail. Here is stab at a 4 ship scum list, flying Kavil and Thug, and two Kihraxz. Thinking of flying them as two pairs, but it might be better to keep them together and focus fire. I am still new at this, so learning as I go.   15. I was feeling a little bad about leaving Jan so light. I think you make a good point on wedge. I might slap crack shot on wedge to help out for the right moment.
