  1. I think they've been on Friday releases for quite a while now. Even the website updates with releases on Friday's instead of Thursdays now.
  2. I don't even know how to respond to this... I can't get past the 'elites'. I can't figure out how a co-operative game would have 'elites' or how that can even be a term applied to a hobby. So confused. FFG has a very simple business model. It's easier and more profitable to make a new game than retain players investing in a current game. If it wasn't financially successful they wouldn't do it. The LCG model is essentially a broken model outside of co-operative games. It doesn't lend itself well to longevity at all. We've seen some* games not sell well due to delays and marketing. I don't think that can be attributed to all games FFG has produced that 'failed'. The tabletop market is way too saturated right now as is.
  3. June 24th, Saskatoon, SK (Dragon's Den Games) 15 Players 1st: Emo Kids (Baby Vader/Kylo) 2nd: Han Solo/Snap 3rd/4th: Vader/Raider & Poe/Maz. Only 1 Poe Maz deck, mostly because I don't think enough people owned all the cards to build it. 3 Palpatine decks running around though. (We had a much bigger SOR shipment compared to Awakenings)
  4. I have it listed there too. He messaged me then decided to pass. Thought the price was pretty reasonable but oh well. Thanks for the heads up though!
  5. Looking to sell my complete collection through meditation and mastery. (2x core and 2x Edge of darkness of course) Includes mara jade playmat, some deckboxes, promos, plenty of sleeves, and the regional alt art affiliation cards from 2013 (not plastic ones). Asking $250 shipped in North America. Thanks Edit: This has now been sold.
  6. I have 3 Core sets, every deluxe, and every asylum pack EXCEPT Spawn of the Sleeper. All other packs are 60 card versions, meaning dreamlands is the POD Version. Asking $510 shipped in North America. Comes with Regionals playmat, domains, and the GNK domains that are double sided. I have no idea where the original cardboard tokens went, I always used dice, so be warned those are not included. I do still have the story boards and a fair amount of the little cthulhu statuettes. I'll include the promo cards I have, deckboxes, and a fair amount of sleeves too. Before anyone asks, no I am not interested in splitting up the collection, I have no interest in only selling my summons of the deep cards. Thanks!

  11. I'm Canadian. His two cents are literally worthless here. I just had to...
  12. It should be pretty similar to most LCG', Star Wars being the only odd exception due to the pod system. Assuming the Adventure takes up 40/60 slots, that would leave 10 new cards per pack, if the investigators only show up in deluxe expansions, which I would guess is going to be the case, since you only need 1 instead of 3 like LOTR. That is about 2 cards per faction, per pack. That's basically the same as every other LCG out there. Other LCG's may have a greater overall volume of new cards per pack, but when you break it down per faction, which is what actually matters, this will expand at the same rate. Granted, the potential 'level up' versions could reduce that a bit, though I think we are still a little green about how that all works with expanding the cardpool, given that we haven't a clue the proportion of cards in the core set that are leveled up versions.
  13. Agreed, those are my only two real complaints about LOTR. Fortunately early impressions seem to suggest neither of these things will be issues
  14. As long as we explore Miskatonic U, I'm pretty flexible :. I would also love to wander off to the dreamlands for a campaign, where I'm sure Mr. Carter could make an appearenc as an investigator . The Silver Key is one of my favourite Lovecraft stories.
