For something a bit more comical. Operation Dumbo Drop, both the movie and the actual operation.

I have decided to go with
Sting Wango: Rodian Hired Gun - Enforcer
Sting grew up poor on Rodia in a disgraced clan of failed hunters. His family was deep in debit to the local crime syndicate. He was offered a chance to do some work for the crime syndicate to help pay off some of his clan's debit. To which he agreed. He quickly made a name for himself as a top notch enforcer and collector. Soon he was taking on the role of a lone shark and book maker, a role in which he excelled at given his past reputation as a gang land enforcer. This ensured that he rarely had to collect outstanding markers, but when he did he was sure to visit the mark personally and get the money by what ever means necessary.
With his growing reputation the syndicate moved him to the more fertile location of Nar Shaddaa where he took to his new life like a fish to water. He was able to increase the syndicate's revenue by 30% by quickly showing people that he was not a shylock to be skipped on.
Things were working out well until a Fel Draga, a Neimoidian crime boss that was jealous of Sting's budding fiefdom of crime, convinced Sting's marks that Fel's organization would protect them and renegotiate their payments if they refused to pay Sting.
As can be expected, this soon turned into all out warfare between the 2 factions. During the fighting, the daughter of, Gikk Nogun a Nikto minor crime lord was inadvertently killed when the fighting spilled over in to a market area. While Gikk does not blame Sting directly for his daughter's death, it is still something that he expects Sting to pay him back on.
With Sting coming out on the losing end of the fight, the syndicate withdrew their support and removed him from the organization. The only reason that he is still alive, is that they still may have a need for him in the future once things cool down with Gikk and Fel.
In the mean time Sting has crawled off to a forgotten corner of the Galaxy, where his reputation hopefully has not caught up to him, and crawled inside a bottle and takes odd jobs as strictly hired muscle for the local crime lord.Motivation: Blood Money: Violence is Sting's Business, which is never in short supply. He knows no other way to make money and treats his bloody work as any other job.
Obligations:
A Score to Settle: Get back at Fel Draga for ruining his reputation - 5 points
Collateral Accountability: Repay Gikk Nogun for the accidental death of his daughter - 5 points
Favor: Party benefactor for taking him on and giving him a chance to redeem himself - 10 PointsAs my character. I don't really have a preference for which crime lord we are working for.
[Edit Rearranged the obligations]

Looking at it right now. Hopefully it was enjoyable for you in creating the character.
Yeah, I just hope you enjoyed it. I am confused on one thing. You said 24 hours. So we have until Wed? I had a late night work and so was to wiped on doing the sheet. So does the 24 hour deadline mean Wed for the finals? I've updated mine a little. Added Descrip detials, touched up the background some (though I do want to flesh out more elements). And fully fleshed out my Obligations. I think I wanted to develop my characters relationships with his family. And then finally buy equipment. If that is cool.
I believe the best source would either be Far Horizons or Fly Casual. I believe that there is something like that there.
Yeah the one in Fly Casual Cost to much. I was wondering if I could just get a normal jacket and just say it's as long as a duster since the coat in the book has extras that I don't need. I just wanted an armored jacket for protection that looked like a duster.
At any rate assuming Wed is the final cut off the Equipment will be spent.
You could just by heavy clothing or padded armor and say that it looks like a duster.

The reason that someone betrayed you is an obligation, is that the betrayal is weighing on your concious and you are trying to reconcile your past relationship with the need to find out why they betrayed you.
Did they betray you out of greed or a buisness deal or was a close friend ir loved one black mailed into betraying you to save their own life or that of one of their loved ones.p
-
You have to take 1 10 point obligation thay you get no bonus from then you MAY take another 10 points of obligation(s) that you get points from.
Betrayal means that you were betrayed by someone that you trusted.
-
Also, in this situation you could also logically call for both rolls. 1) to see if they successfully climb what every they were attempting to climb and 2) to see if they do so unnoticed.

Ok I have 3 concepts here for your approval:
1) Sting Wango: Rodian Hired Gun - Enforcer
Sting grew up poor on Rodia in a disgraced clan of failed hunters. His family was deep in debit to the local crime syndicate. He was offered a chance to do some work for the crime syndicate to help pay off some of his clan's debit. To which he agreed. He quickly made a name for himself as a top notch enforcer and collector.
A Score to Settle: Get back at Fel Draga for ruining his reputation - 10 points
Collateral Accountability: Repay Gikk Nogun for the accidental death of his daughter - 10 points2) Kirkrun - Wookie Explorer - Big Game Hunter
Ever since Kirkrun was a small wookie, he was fascinated by the tales of the deep forests on Kyshayyk, especially the fearsome monsters there. When he had grown up, being more fool hardy then skilled journeyed to the deep forest to kill a beast from the tales he had heard growing up. He brought along some of his friends to share in the glory.
However, with little to no actual experience hunting things that big on their own, the hunt went poorly. Most of them were severely hurt but some were killed before they were rescued by a more experienced hunting party. They brought the survivors back to the city where their wounds were tended to and Kirkrun, being the ring leader faced sanction by the elder council.
After much debate, the eldars exiled Kirkrun from Kyshayyak. He found himself hiring on to freighters as muscle and a hired gun. Eventually, he was able to keep enough credits to return to the hunt. He was able to hire on to a ship that was capturing large game for export to various crime lords, zoos, and eccentric nobles.
He proved himself time and again to his new crew. They were on Hoth hunting icestompers when they were ambushed by a large Wampa. The Wampa destroyed the hunting party and Kirkrun managed to wound it, taking out one of it's eyes with a bowcaster bolt and it ran. Kirkrun, badly injured himself barely managed to limp back to their camp, their speeder having been wrecked by the wampa.
Kirkrun and what few survivors there were returned to their employer with much less stock then they had promised. They were all let go and black listed. Kirkrun was forced to return to working as a hired gun and was forced to sell off most of his hunting gear. He took a vow to return to Hoth and hunt down the ancient wampa that attacked them.Motivation:
Through his wanderings and failures, Kirkrun has taken to the hunt as a means of Self Discovery, finding his limits and pushing the envelope. While cash is nice to make ends meet, Trophies are where a real hunter shines. He wears the pelts and teeth of many of his successful hunts.
Obligations:
Obsession: Find and kill the wampa that got away -10
Exiled: Exiled from Kyshayyk-103) Titus Dryaen Human Explorer - Scout/Fringer
Titus grew up the son of a lesser noble on Chandrilla and was fascinated by the tales his governess spun about lost civilizations and the old galactic empires. When he was a bit older this curiosity was changed to an obsession with the numerous holo-vids of those fantastic tales. One tale in particular, the tale of King Veghoth the Hutt's lost city of gold on a long forgotten jungle planet enthralled him.
He used every opportunity he could to study the story buying books from various sources trying in vain to find an original copy, as well as star charts to that location. When he grew up he left his family and Chandrilla to seek out this lost city. He quickly blew through a large portion of his trust fund and was shut off from it.
Not wanting to give up on his dream, he started working as a field reporter sending back reports to various adventure journals of his journeys to subsidize his expeditions when these donations started to dry up, he quickly a massed a large debt in most ports in the deep fringe.
He hopes to one day find the city or other treasures to pay off his debtMotivation:
Discover Lost Treasure
Obligations:
Obsession -10 (Find the fabled lost city of King Veghoth the Hutt )
Debt -10Of the 3, I would have fun with all 3. I do think that Sting and Titus are more multi-faceted then Kirkrun, but I think all are playable. Though I think that the Treasure hunting scout could pair well with the Archeologist and Sting would pair well with any of the faces.

The Spacer's Duffel and Surveyor's bag are properly luggage and can be carried, but not allow easy access.
If a player wanted to wear more then 1 back pack, they would need to carry it in their hand(s) and have to drop it to fight

There are droid, other then Grevious, that have multiple arms. There is one that the Jawas are showing to the farmers in episode 4, the Imperial Probe Droid and one of the medical droids either on Hoth or on the Rebel fleet from episode 5.

Decide on what direction you want YOUR campaign to go and consult with the players. It does you no good to make an elaborate plan for a "Mysteries of the Force" campaign when your players want to play Firefly, for example.
If the players had fun and liked the characters they used in the beginners box, there is a free follow up adventure on the website.

I don't really see the need to make a special house ruled penalty for Atromech players (or other binary only droids) when Wookies, Gands, Trandoshans, and many other races that cannot speak basic are not forced by the system to have an interpreter available.

"Give them the choice between the racial bonus and their racial trait for both species.
They retain any lowered attributes but have to choose between racial traits and higher attributes"I like this, but I would also add they take the starting WT, ST, and XP of the race with the lowest of the 2 of the pair. This would stop a Half Human/ Half Wookie from having 110 XP and a brawn of 4 to start with.

If a PC takes on additional obligation (either at start or through play) then you simply add that to Player X and adjust their slot accordingly and that of other PCs.
The obligation for the ship is assumed in the PCs starting points. For Example:
Han has an obligation to Jabba for money that he owes Jabba for the profits he lost on the spice shipment. He also has a bounty on his head.
Chewie has an Obligation to Han (Life Debit) and possibly some to Jabba as well
Luke has obligation to his family
Obi-Wan has an obligation of a Bounty on his head
Now, technically Han owns the ship and Chewie works for him but Luke, and Obi-Wan (and later Leia) have the benefit of access to the ship for their purposes.
Which by the time on ESB, they have used a lot for purposes of the Rebellion:
Obi-Wan is dead so his obligation is not applicable.
Luke's family is dead and he has officially joined the Rebellion, and has taken on a Duty. He also has the obligation Hunted by Vader.
Han and Chewie, on the other hand are still wanted by Jabba and their obligations to him are increased as they have caused him more loss of face

From the X-Wing Video game (I think it was actually an A-Wing mission). One fighter squadron can run strafing and torpedo runs on the Interdictor's Shield generators (the globes above the conning tower), while the other runs air cover keeping the TIEs occupied. Once the generators have been destroyed you target the gravity well projectors and repeat the process until they all are done.

The other thing to keep in mind, is that unlike the SAGA system, this system has no real penalty for having no skill in something. It assumes that they PCs are reasonably competent in every skill. Having points gives you access to the yellow die, which gives them access to the triumph.
If you are piloting and do not have a skill, you still get the benefit of bonus dice for positive handling (if any). Also, there are ways to "team up" players if you put them in Y-Wings or other "Trainer" Fighters. The player with the better agility or Piloting (Space) pilots the fighter and the other PC fires the guns and operates the shields.
Another option, is to pair the PCs up as Wingman teams. With they PC that has the better piloting in the pair be the lead fighter and the other being the their partner. In this case, the leading fighter should give their partner a blue die for any piloting checks if they keep formation as well as for any weapon shots needed.
This is up to both the PCs and GM to work with, I have seen too many combats in nearly every system where everyone runs off and does there own thing and not work together to coordinate attacks.

Also aside from choosing one as a starting career/ Specializations, the F&D trees DO NOT give you an automatic Force point.
Split Light reacted to this -
I find the biggest hurdle with Obligation or Duty is the randomness of it. After struggling with random duty in my AoR game, I have simply taken the chart for my party and make sure that we have a mission that alternates among 1 or more of the member's duty goal(s) when planning for them. When we has the smuggler join as their pilot I added her obligation into the rotation.

-
I know that someone who starts off as a EoE or AoR character and then takes one of the 2 universal specializations can then go into one of the F&D trees.
However can a F&D character take one of the 2 Universal force sensitive trees? If so would then then immediately get the extra force point?
-
Do the PCs have a medic? If so, they could use something to put the NPCs to sleep so that they use less oxygen. They may also not be as bad off on air as you think. If they are using a Lambda it is a general purpose craft and used form anything from a cargo hauler to a drop-ship and anything in between. As a drop-ship/ personnel carrier it can carry a fairly large number of people (3 to 4 crew and about 30 to 50 people as I recall).

Remember the Pilot/ Driver talent that lets this happen in 1 round (I think)

Pizo Press makes a magnetic, dry erasable board with different colored magnetic, dry erasable plaques that you can move around on the sheet. it works pretty well and you also have a large area to take notes and record damage.
