  1. The adversary cards and the 2 Critical Hit decks are amazing.  They help with play so much.  The Adversary cards have a nice picture and the stats for the bad guys on them, as well as a little back ground flavor text on them.  The critical decks are nice, because you can pass them to the PC and have them describe the injury and then can take a bit of time to copy it down.

Other than that, ThinkGeek.com has some interesting things to get him, but I do not know about shipping time.

  2. I think that the Universal Recruit has the potential to be a valuable tool for very specific characters.  For example, you are playing a diplomat character, as I recall none of these have any weapon skills and minimal non-social/ knowledge skills.  And the cost of taking UR and the Basic Training Talent does cost less XP then taking a specialization that has both brawl and ranged (light) as skills.

However, the downside of this tree is that say you are a Solider Commando, you already have the combat skills that are the majority of the 'low hanging fruit' 5 point talents and need to buy them to get the most out of the Second Wind Talent and the first Toughened Talent.  As it currently stands, you still need to buy 2 5 point talents that you get no benefit from as you already have both of the associated skills for them.  It should be noted that Hired Guns, Bounty Hunters, and some other arhectypes also have this problem to some extent or another.

I think that the tree would be much better if those talents (along with other similar talents that give 1 or 2 Skills) were modified to say that if you already have both of these skills, you do not need to buy this talent.

  3. also, the option to buy a Stun only weapon at half price is only for blasters that have a stun setting to begin with. So you cannot make a bowcaster stun only as it is 1) not a blaster and 2) does not have a stun setting.

NOTE: Not all blasters can be so mosified either. Only Blaster Carbines and all blaster pistols that have a stun setting (except for heavy pistols) can be so purchased.

  4. Sting gets up and surrenders the Captain's chair to it's rightful occupant. He starts back towards the galley, but before he leaves the cockpit, he catches the incomming broadcast.

He places both hands on the the bulkhead and hangs slightly. "I got a bad feeling about this..." he mutters and trails off unto a sigh. He heads back to his bunk to retreive his weapons.

  5. Obligations are things that you owe to NPCs or organizations.  This is used to be the reasons that the characters are looking to get money...either they owe someone or are looking to provide for others or hiding from someone.  Having your best buddy next to you is not going to be weighing on your mind or forcing you to do something that you do not want to do.

They could have a motivation to keep each other alive

  6. Growing annoyed with the continued cacophony of the klaxons, Sting slams down the rest of the bottle of Corellian whiskey and wanders up to the flight deck passing the Captain in the corridor.  Seeing Lynna struggling  with the controls, he sits down next to her.

"Need a hand?" he says in Huttese.

Looking over the blinking lights on the console he throws toggle switches where the blinking lights are to help kill them as fast as they pop up.

    OOC:

1 boost is from me passing the last roll and the other is for me taking extra time.  .  I will pass a Boot to Lynna directly for her next action

Sting Wango Hutt Space Chronicles Piolting Roll 3eA+2eB+1eD+2eS 0 successes, 1 advantage

    Edit: Re-rolled per Sarone
