    Ion decay

    Suggestion: ion effect remains the same with the following addition... ion attacks temporarily disable sheilds on the affected ship until the ion token is cleared. For large based ships two ion tokens are required for this secondary effect of disabling sheilds until the next round. Should open up nice opportunities for sneaking crits through to heavily sheilded targets and bringing those same ships down in one turn with well planned concentrated fire. Too much? Or just enough to make ion attacks interesting and relivant again?

  5. I have voiced my opinion on this in other threads... reckon we're getting a new version of x-wing for the new era. Original x-wing game continues as normal and expands from rebels series and offshoot rebel period films. While we get 2 new factions for the new era that can't be flown against the existing rebellion era factions and the ships for these will be expanded from the ep7+ cannon.... another thought though, what if the other two products were similar to most wanted - as in one for each new faction, with 2 or 3 models and a whole bunch of pilot cards to allow the use of certain rebellion era models that will show up in ep7..... I.e. pilot cards for the falcon, a more powerful Luke flying an old x-wing etc...
  6. For a first repaint I think that's brilliant mate. Just trying my first repaints now, I know what you mean about the nerves.... but it's just so cool to make the ships your own!
  7. Huge fan of the scyk here.... I really want it to be competitive but unique and interesting at the same time. Seems like the ship was designed as a cannon/weapons platform and a manouverable semi-arc dodger, but its proving very fragile and not quite as manouvarable as we would like. Also the title-less scyk is not seeing any real table time due to the z95 being a better choice for the low point filler/swarm/blocker ship. So how about this: Modification - M3A Scyk Only: 'Improved Roll Thrusters' 0 pts 'You may use the two straight template when executing a barrel roll. You may equip one more modification to your ship (pay the points cost as normal).' Now this would give the little scyk a nice buff in survivability due to improved repositional/arc dodging, but without resorting to giving it the boost action - keeping the M3A unique from the games other interceptors. It would also help in lining up shots, getting range 1 from time to time, and making its movements much more unpredictable. The extra mod slot would allow for the possibility of adding hull, shield or stealth device should you choose. Also, imagine the improved blocking potential with this mod - i think this might make the 14 pt title-less scyk a viable choice. Might be fun
