If I were only going for Armada I'd pick nationals too.
-
I will be there, but not driving.
-
Dang it's "sold out"... if anyone has a spare ticket let me know

-
It's mostly updated to include "his or her" wherever appropriate.
Are we getting girl players in wave 7?
Also, waiting for them to update in the future to include genderless and furries.

Now we know why Screed is pumping his fist in the new Alt art card...
-
The xwing kits are spoiled with pictures, anyone have info on what is in the armada kit
-
I should be game for that, but I am going in a pack and my first Gencon so I expect I'll be a bit scattered

-
Yeah still tickets open for it, I think Gencon is a bit on the huge/busy side which affects the signups. The positive is the Screed card is participation, the next good prize is top 8 so easy to drop if you aren't doing well early

The difference being: "Comm Noise" states the Opponent changes the ships speed by 1. Yes, the ship's speed is changed, but its changed by the opponent.
Whereas Phylom:
When you activate, you may exhaust this card to choose 1 enemy ship of your size class or smaller at distance 1-5. That ship must spend a NAV token or reduce its speed by 1 to a minimum of 1.
The Ships speed is changed, and the Ship is the one doing the speed Change - because it specifies "That ship ... reduces its speed by 1."
It does not say "The opponent reduces its speed by 1."
It is a difference in terminology - and one that is clear when you view the card in those immediate words and nothing else.
So if the opponent decides to use a Nav command, it's the OPPONENT using a nav command to change it's speed..the speed is changed by the opponent, so Inquisitor doesn't work.
Makes it a pretty crappy card.
Edit- was thinking backwards with comm noise
-
It would work because spending the token to trigger a fleet command is not using it as part of the command dial, so no stacking issues or using a "different command" issues with leia.

Meepleville in Las Vegas has one on Sunday. I will try to get lists.

Cleanup officer, for force-choked former officers that need to be quickly and quietly removed.
-
Yeah, fun for casual, If you want to try a tourney, keep the new models reasonably close to the originals, and have the official model as backup if anyone objects (it's their right to do so).
I wouldn't swap one legal ship for another cosmetically, tho.. that will get confusing.

Sure I'll shout out @BrobaFett who I spent the most time with hanging around Worlds. Hope to catch him at a regional later this year!

One of each to start, probably 2 of each when all is said and done

Maybe a flotilla with the upgrades to use boarding parties? (because we can use more flotillas)

Luke was on the prizewall at worlds 2017, but the plastic vsd was not.

Any boost to AA fire on an Agent Kallus Raider is going to seem a bit too much.

I was thinking a card that lets you use concentrate fire command/tokens on all squads you attack that round would be interesting at 5-8 points.
-
Also don't foget the CC kit cards. Saber Squad, Cienna Ray, Ten Numb, and Dagger Squadron... also the Fighter Ambush objective card
-
Looks more like a Man-Nook. Was it really a money issue to not get a bigger table, or did your wife not want you blocking the entire hallway?

-
Garm and Tarkin can also have issues with veteran tokens.. just a facet of a token based commander.
