Probably not going to be able to justifying buying more ships until wave 2. Do you play two VSD's and a GSD or just the two VSDs? 2 vsd's and gsd.

My wife and I play once a week as well, except she plays the empire and I have Reb's. I have won every time except one until.....She got another victory class stardestroyer. It comes with Motti which gives your 2 victorys +2 hull and gladiator +1 hull. If your willing to buy this expansion it will help even the odds and shink the play area. Your 2 tanks can take a TON of damage and if deployed correctly will give you more shots on her Corvettes. My wife plays VVG with a fair amount of upgrades and a small fighter escort. I am still trying to game plan to take down her new fleet. If you want to go with your current set up I would suggest bringing the victory up slow at movement 1 to keep as many ships in the front arc and using the fighters as an escort. Flank with the gladiator and roll well Good luck.

I have been challenged to a 400 pt ‘to the death’ match. We have not been able to even contemplate such a game, so far, because of our schedules. I would like some suggestions if you would. I have: Core set 1 of each wave 1 (except for cr-90) Here is what I have come up with: AR-II B 72 PARAGON 5 ECM 7 ENHANCED ARM. 10 DODONNA 20 (UNSURE WHERE TO PUT HIM) TTL 114 CR-90B 39 DODONNA PRIDE 6 ECM 7 TTL 52 NEB B EF 57 ADAR 10 YARAVIS 5 TTL 72 NEB B SR 51 SALVATION 7 X17 6 INTEL. OFFICER 7 TTL 71 309 A WING * 2 = 22 B WING *1 = 14 X WING*1 = 13 KAYAN = 20 WEDGE = 19 88 88+309= 397 he will bring 2 victory class and 1 gladiator class plus rye bomber ensemble and upgrades including enhanced armaments. What else he brings is a mystery. Any suggestions on my build would be greatly appreciated. No mission cards this game. Straight up to the death!!!!!! Thanks!
