This is great news. I would love a supported online version (with all the expansions).
My big hope is they make it PC to mobile accessible. I typically play on my phone more than on my computer. If you have to pay for the PC version to access the mobile side, that would be fine with me.

Question: Do you foresee future use of the order token system from Forbidden Stars and Starcraft the Board Game? It's a delightfully entertaining system and you guys do these kind of games best!

Question: is FFG happy with the performance of sales for Twilight Imperium 4th Edition? I know it's a labor of love and it really show when I play it. God bless every single person at FFG that laid a finger on any edition of this great game. The reason I ask is that generally FFG is known for pushing great expansions for great games and well any feedback you might share would be greatly appreciated by many I am sure.
Edit: We seem to be on the edge of it breaking into the top 7 at BGG.

Thanks for doing a open AMA for fans of FFG!
I wasn't much of a table top gamer until I got into X-Wing I can't tell you ow much this game means to me now meeting lots of great people.
For X-wing 2.0 how long until the original 3 factions will start to see new ships not just re-releases? Great to see card packs coming will there be more future card packs with more new pilots of 1.0 ships such as RZ1 A-Wing, and Auzituck as examples?
I have been looking at Imperial Assault and thinking about jumping into it. Many have asked about new content in the thread, but I am concerned about starting to buy IA if it might no longer be re-printed. How long can we expect current IA products to be available and re-printed if needed? I am asking that knowing that ) IA products are available to purchase from FFG currently and none are listed as upcoming for a re-print. Is Imperial Assault being discontinued, or will FFG print more?

LCGs were a fantastic innovation, but it seems that several of them are running up against the limitations of the format; larger barriers to entry, slow (or non-existent, so far) card tunover to rotate out old design, high number of SKUs for stores to stock, etc etc. They still seem like an ideal distribution format for the co-ops, but in need of rethinking for the competitive games. Any thoughts on how to iterate on the success of the LCG format to shore up some of its apparent shortcomings?

I'm also curious as to what the future of Imperial Assault might be (particularly skirmish), and, if the answer is still that there is no physical product in the works, my followup question would be: why? I've never had more fun with tabletop gaming than I have with this fantastic game, but then it all just sort of went away without any communication from FFG one way or another. I'd just love to know if there was some specific reason that this game has been essentially discontinued (again from a skirmish point of view), or was it just more a matter of shifting priorities to newer games like Legion?
And thanks again for making such a great game to begin with - as I said up top, it's the most fun I've had with plastic and cardboard.

What is the current status with the Tannhäuser IP? I would love to see anything new, remastering the core game, or using the IP for something else.

Is there any intention on expanding Twilight Imperium 4th Edition with new expansions? Is this something you could consider?

I understand that games can't last forever. As a big fan who has invested a lot of time and money in Imperial Assault, I feel burned and disillusioned by the manner in which our community is being shut down. What motivation can FFG provide for someone like me to invest in future products when my experience has been the end of a vibrant gaming scene without warning, explanation, or communication?

I'll take your word on that FFGEvan, because I know typically questions about the future are difficult for FFG to see. Something about the future always being in motion. 😄
1. Will we see a Superhero themed sourcebook for the Genesys Role-Playing System?
2. What's your favorite Twilight Imperium 4E faction?
3. In the process of working with Lucasfilm, are there specific requirements for lore, tech, or characters that are requested or expected to be included?

Dusty27 reacted to King_Balrog in THE PLAYMAT!?
No other instance of products going undelivered in my case (though I wouldn't be surprised if it happened before).
My grievances have more to do with the radio silence, lack of community outreach, and the way FFG have ghosted concerned fans regarding the discontinuation of their products.

I hope that the playmat that we all ordered ten months ago will be released before the new playmats for Imperial Assault that they just announced.

It's $5.00 more than fallout and x-com .
15 more than Whitechapel or civilization: a new dawn
Less than Doom and some of the other games.
IA base box and Rebellion are $100.00.
This pricing is pretty in line with their other stuff.

Dusty27 reacted to Hawkstrike in reasons of being hyped ?
Well, back in the day I always wanted to get the GW Fellowship of the Ring minis and game. It was pretty pricey and I did not have any hobby skills.
Even if the game is poor, this looks like a good way to pick up a lot of LotR minis that might work for a future skirmish game, do double duty in Frostgrave and Rangers of Shadow Deep, support a D&D Adventures in Middle Earth or One Ring RPG game, and so on.

I haven't been rude to you at all Frogtrigger, despite you calling me jaded, rude, negative and condescending, as well as you telling me my point is invalid because you haven't had that experience.
I don't need you to police my post. I agreed to disagree. I'll simply leave it at that.
Perhaps I should have simply stated that I am unlikely to support a game I think I would enjoy due to past company decisions involving the support and marketing decisions of games in their line, much like others have stated they are unlikely to support it due to the app requirement. I was curious to see if others felt the same way after the recent Runewars announcement which suggests the end of that line as well.
