If you are saying put all of that on an ARC170 then you have 2 mods, and that cant be done f you are saying use Nien Numb pilot in the T70, then EngineUpgrade is useless. Hah, i don't know why I threw EU in there. I think I had it in my head because the OP had it. That's what typing on the phone without paying attention gets me. I meant just without EU. Referring to the green maneuvers--it would have the most of any ship, including an Interceptor with TIE MK II. You sacrifice the EU but you still get barrell roll and hard turns, which I think works better overall on the ARC with its rear arc. Means nothing without a higher PS if she ends up being the last against an arc dodger. I think the more unpredictable initial movement obtained from a BB-8 Barrel Roll is more likely to catch people wrong footed.

Can you Barrel Roll again after BB-8 with Vectored Thrusters? No. Engine Upgrade is a better choice, if you have the points, for this reason. A pre-move Boost & Barrel Roll combined with the green speed 2 banks can throw Norra a long way. Kyle Katarn is a nice trick. If you want to build Norra to throw that heavyweight ship around, I'd suggest: Norra Wexley - Alliance Overhaul, Push The Limit, Nien Numb, BB-8, Engine UpgradeAnd as a good 'buddy' who can use the more impressive bits of an ARC's dial: Shara Bey - Alliance Overhaul, Wired, Hera Syndulla, Targeting Astromech These two can really hit the gas by ARC-170 standards. Nora + Title + PTL + BB-8 + EU + Crew I've just play tested on xws-bench with both Nien Nunb and Kyle Katarn as the crew against a Computer controlled PS11 Vader. The 4 Green straight I ended up flying around the board without any shots on target for a large portion of the game. I managed to get Vader down to 2 hull but died. (...) How so? Did you forget about your rear arc? No I just ended up out of range. In hindsight I think the second go I had a better understanding and that played more of an influence on the result. I'll give it another try.

I'm confused - don't you have to perform your maneuver (the 4 straight) before you perform the action (Boost)? Unless you have advanced sensors, that is. So the order would be: Reveal Red (Green via Nien Nunb) 4 Straight on dial. Barrel Roll with BB8. Perform 4 straight maneuver. Boost. Use PTL for second action : focus or TL. end with 1 stress. PTL states: ... after you perform an action, you may perform 1 free action shown in your action bar. It doesn't mean when you perform the action just an action.

Katarn because of the restricted Greens I was able to out position him (I know... it) and kill him/it without losing a shield. Loved flying around asteroid field shenanigans. I think for only 2 more pts I would go Kyle Katarn.

Oh yeah. Sexy, innit? I mean, it's basically the same thing that has been done before with Poe. But the option to pull that on a 4 straight makes it extra creamy. In terms of distance covered. For 7 pts less Tycho can move further but doesn't get the goods. Tycho + Title + Char.Ref. + Vect.Thrust. + PTL For 4 pts less PS11 Vader can do the same as Tycho but with no stress. Vader + VI + Title + ATC + EU But I think what you're getting at here is the shenanigans aspect of doing the BR + Boost at the start and therefore making the destination more unpredictable is it?
-
Just for clarification is the following correct? Dial in a Red 4 Straight Nien Nunb makes red 4 straight = green 4 straight. Barrel Roll to left and forward with BB-8 as you have revealed a green Boost with PTL 1 bank to left Receive 1 Stress for PTL Perform 4 straight Manoeuver Check Pilot Stress and remove stress as you have just performed a green Either focus or TL as your 1 action.

You lose your fixed Auxillary arc but Scum Kath gets to keep her ability in the mobile one!
-
I would love a cross faction ship title (Firesprays and HWKs) that would allow you to add Scum Crew. Something like Contracted Bounty

Why does the conspiracy theorist keep saying Alderbrawn!

I was thinking just this. Don't get me wrong I like M9-G8 and am looking forward to my HotR expansion but... R7 Astromech is 1 pt less and you get to choose any or ALL attack dice and when people are throwing 4 or even 5 Reds it makes sense to combat that rather than keep your TL. (Tarn gets to reacquire a TL next time he's declared in an attacked) M9-G8 is going to be fun with it's friendly ship shenanigans. I'm thinking if you stick it on someone who will only ever Focus, you get to carry a TL on a friendly from turn one all the way through until you die. Someone like Garven. Good points here but i believe that M9 adds more versatility. With R7, the TL is not doing anything until you are attacked. It does nothing to help friendly ships at all. It is just focused on Tarn and usually he is not the biggest threat on the table so he is not focused on first. M9 lets tarn make use of his extra time on the table by buffing friendlies and can still switch the TL to an enemy if he is attacked. Also M9 does not spend the TL so Tarn can use it in his own attack if necessary. Sure its only 1 dice rerolled rather than all of them but the extra utility makes up for that. I except that, but would M9 on Tarn not make him a target much sooner.

Reminds me of Old B.O.B from that other classic Disney Sci-Fi

This is exactly the kind of thing I love! Lists and dates and stats and breakdowns..... I think stress Mechanics that are getting used a great deal at the moment are being able to "Ignore Stress" or "Benefit from Stress" by either perform/obtain actions or do red manoeuvers whilst stressed. I'm thinking in particular the chopper VCX build with Ezra, Hera and FCS I get TL and change 1 focus to a Crit and Do red manoeuvers all whilst stressed. These obviously came in Wave 2 with Tycho - "Ignore Stress" and Soontir Fel - "Benefit from Stress" Other examples are: "Ignore Stress" - Hera (8) "Benefit from Stress" - Keyan Farlander (4.5),

Although it does have the same wing shape I don't think that it can be the same craft based on the two images as the bridge on the Gauntlet is further aft. That being said I don't think that FFG would put an Epic ship on the board that was nearly as wide as it was long.

I'm guessing stunned silence because it's just so awesome... oh wait... is it so bad?

Chaos cards have updated to being in stock instead of pre-order EDIT: now it has been restored to Pre-order

The YV already has the 0 stop maneuver though, seems like a waste of points You cannot perform the native red stop when stressed. ID will allow you to pull it out of the bag when ever you want. EDIT: Zuckuss on board means you're probably stressed.
-
Hi all, Any thoughts on this 100 pts list? What should I watch out for? Is there something I'm missing? Dengar+PLT+R4 Agro+Title+EU Moralo+HLC+K4+Zuckuss+ID I played against Moralo this week and liked the HLC 180º arc and thought I would give it a go. Especially as every one says Four Dice is the new black. I know there's no synergy between the pair but as I have a Punishing One on the way I'd like to give it its first outing.

As someone who doesn't eat breakfast, it is obvious to me that you consider brekkie the most important first three meals of the day Dat and Dinner... but no lunch. Why does it look like you eggs have gonorrhea?

Throwing my 2 cents in: Snap Wexley - 35 Points After you execute a 2-, 3-, or 4-speed manoeuvre, if you are not touching a ship, you may perform a free boost action. “Snap” Wexley/T-70 X-Wing (28) R2 Astromech (1) Treat all 1- and 2-speed manoeuvres as green manoeuvres. Primed Thrusters (1) Stress tokens do not prevent you from performing boost or barrel roll actions unless you have 3 or more stress tokens. Push the Limit (3) Once per round, after you perform an action, you may perform 1 free action shown in your action bar. Then receive 1 stress token. Vectored Thrusters (2) Your action bar gains the icon. All the 2s as green means you can clear the stress from PTL but it doesn't matter if you do or not for Arc Dodging but if you do you get the extra TL or Focus EDIT: Obviously he's only PS 6 so no Soontir

...not that matters, but everyone can measure Range 5 with standard core templates. 5 Straight = Range 2 _________ \__\__\__\ = Range Ruler ______ |_____| |____| |___| = 1 to 5 Straight maneuver templates |__| |_| _________ ______ \__\__\__\|_____| = Range 5

Luke and Gunner don't directly manipulate the blank, but Han can then use his ability on the gunner shot to potentially turn Finn's added blank into something useful, again. Finn works on every attack. Are you saying I can use Han's ability as much as I like? Statistically speaking I would use it 16 times with Finn's extra dice!
-
Oooo... Han "Re-Roll" Solo and Han "Surprise Muthaf***a"" Solo
-
I've mostly followed this thread but I need to ask this question. Why is everyone talking about Gunner and Finn. Surely there is no synergy here as Gunner does not get to keep the extra dice Finn provides. I see it (with what is known) that Finn's synergy with Rey is obvious... roll 3 dice get 1 or 2 useful dice add a blank and re-roll 2 dice to get another 1 or 2 useful dice. No Actions needed. Similarly Han "ReRoll" Solo gets a good stab at this extra dice on his "you MUST re-roll all your dice" Target Lock spent to re-roll any dice of your choosing. But Luke and Gunner.... sorry that ship has sailed.
