If A New Hope is 20ish years after the Clone Wars, and the earliest I've seen them is a few years before that on Rebels, that'd make it closer to 50 years in service. In real life, the A-10 is around that age and it's still hard to truly replace it. Maybe the A-Wing falls into that camp. Sometimes designers just get it right.
Let's not forget that the Airframe might not change much but the engines and systems are significantly upgraded over the lifespan of these fighter jets.
Therefore Resistance A-wing gets a Tech slot... and maybe an extra shield... a weapons upgrade would be most welcome!

The first set of micro
hangershangars I made I used either 120gsm or 150gsm but after a year I needed to replace quite a few commonly used boxes as the flaps had come away and were no longer useful. The best results I have had for replacing them is printing them on Transparency Film like you used to get with overhead projectors. You need to use an acrylic glue and probably a paper clip to hold in place until it is set.Edit: The advantage being they are far more durable but also you can see the contents really easily.

I had a good time flying lowhick+Exp Int+Lando+kannan+wired. In a one hour game I lost 1 shield.

Tell us how you really feel. The X-wing might be the elephant in the room, but that elephant is sitting on the same couch as a mammoth named Jumpmaster.
I once gave my friend an elephant for his room. When he thanked me I said "Don't mention it"
... oh is that my taxi!

That's oneway to nerf Rebels...

This product could have been in playtest for decades and this issue would have nothing to do with playtesting. These quotes represent a complete lack of understanding of how a product is developed. By the time a product has reached the point where this piece of cardboard was actually designed playtesting was probably already long over. Its not uncommon for playtesters to have word documents that they print out on the office HP to represent pilot and upgrade cards. For the miniature for this they were probably using an imperial gozanti, if they bothered with a miniature at all. Playtesters don't get anywhere close to using the finished product, which is what would be needed to notice something like this (because, you know, the product can't be made until it is done, and it can't be done until the playtesting is done first.
Yes, someone in the development chain should have spotted the mistake, but not playtesters.
I'm sorry to have implied that it was "play testers" at fault. Not my intention.
I meant that if a Production-Prototype has not been "played" with, in a "testing" fashion, by a third person then you are deluding yourself as a designer to your abilities to spot mistakes on computer displays. I cannot count the number of times I have had a typo on a report and have only seen it as the paper is being fed from the printer.

Same reason why R3 area is bigger than R2 area and R2 is bigger than R1.Oh I see what you mean now.

How can you have a bigger arc? Surely it is the same i.e. just under 90º

That concept art TIE that gets posted every now and again was so cool, and unique while still being identifiably an Imperial derived ship, so they have people who can do interesting things. Instead we get a smushed together TIE Advanced and TIE Interceptor.
Maybe disappointing from a creative perspective but in terms of practicality...
It's only been 30 years. It's an Evolutionary design process for the First Order not Revolutionary. Stands to reason that you take what is proven and develop it.
Just look at the generations of military aircraft we have, generation 3 to generation 5 is about 50 years:

5) Good sense of anticipating the opponent's moves.
Those should come from #3

That's exactly what I do, you can see the effects on the Star Spawn's wing above

I got an Expo Tools starter kit off of ebay.
so far I have used it for priming only

The only boardgame trust issues I have is when playing Dead of Winter where I firmly believe any player making a slightly dodgy decision must be the betrayer.... But at least you can exile them!

Arguably that's checked when the card is discarded, not when Jabba is equipped. And if it's not it does mean you can bring Az and Jabba, and space jabba and replace him with Dengar the instant the game starts which sounds kinda bent if not broken.
Ooh true, I'd not noticed that. Using Az on the CRC to swap out Jabba for Gunner once the tokens have been spent might actually be viable.
THinking about lists:
Bossk (35)
Determination (1)
Jabba The Hutt (5)
Dengar (3)
"Hot Shot" Blaster (3)Ketsu Onyo (38)
Fearlessness (1)
K4 Security Droid (3)
Glitterstim (2)
Glitterstim (2)
Engine Upgrade (4)
Shadow Caster (3)Total: 100
Oh I see...

I'm really not sure. A priori the things people are suggesting are pretty great (Shadow Casters with 4 uses of Stim, in particular) but that's not the whole story - you have to spend 34+ points on a YV with only one open crew slot to get that on the field. And arguably you lose the ability to spend the tokens when the YV dies.
Not the way the card is worded. When you equip... place 1 illicit token...discard 1 illicit token... instead
Jabba's ability only applies prior to the beginning of the game. You could jettison him out of the cargo bay and equip someone else. Unfortunately Azmorigan is huge ship only...

Wow, I picked an identical colour scheme for the star spawn Green/Purple.
I now have to choose what to paint next. I'm thinking the Cultists in a blue robe. I want something robe like to practice my blending on.
I really love your Ghost colour!

At Christmas a friend got a present from his wife to go on a miniature painting course... so naturally I accompanied him.
The table top war game I play is X-wing where the models come pre-painted so the only thing I had were my MoM figures. I chose the Star Spawn...
5 hours in total, airbrush priming, hand brush there after.
