I gave bgg a look and don’t think it’s the right fit for me. I’m hoping amg does the right thing and opens up a forum for exactly like this one (and hope that they will participate more in the conversation as well)

I am worrying now that this next wave is going to be delayed until AMG makes some decisions on the game. They may not even want to release those ships yet or maybe they’ll split it into two separate waves. Do they even do announcements other than on Facebook and if so where? Their web page seemed kind of bland.

Goodbye people. Here’s to hoping amg does something similar. I will probably check out discord and see what it feels like.

Kind of it surprised that the forum is getting shut down . It is 2020 afterall. Still disappointed and bummed. I’ll be getting most of my news and info from @Crabbok’s YouTube channel going forward I guess.

Somewhat disheartening news. I enjoyed reading the opinions and posts by this group of armada players. I’ve never gotten on discord and know nothing about it.

My point is no matter what they try to do, fans moan. They complained about how Luke acted in last Jedi so they give a full Powered Luke and we get more complaints. The creators of the content just can’t win.

Ugh this by thread is starting to remind me again that Star Wars fans suck. They find so little enjoyment in something they claim to love.

My game nerdz order finally shipped today as well

I don’t usually preorder from them. I try to preorder thru a local store and they actually got the new stuff last Monday and let me go in and get it. Cool stuff and miniature market are good places to preorder from if you are an online shopper.

I would recommend to always preorder or you’ll sometimes find it very hard to find the new releases.

My gamenerdz preorder still has not shipped. Starting to get nervous.

If you can wait that long that’s a good way to go. Just don’t be surprised if it’s March or April by the time the next wave drops. My gut tells me there’s no way the next 4 expansions will be out in January. Best case scenario is an announcement article this month and the units arrive in February or March.

The last 4 episodes have just been fantastic. Really can’t wait to see these next two episodes. Hard to imagine they can keep it up but I kind of think they’re going to.

Even so if they are being released, they’re probably a year and a half to two years away so I would say get two starters if you want 2 of those ships. Maybe you can then sell the hard eels on eBay.

No squadron cards, ship upgrades only.

I hope we get a release in January for new players. The fleet starters will get boring pretty fast I would think.

Played a game today with the new cards and it was annoying. Only played 300 points and we had very little rook left on the edges of the 6 by 4 table. Playing at 400 points will be very burdensome. We will need a separate table just for the cards. Definitely a huge error on ffg’s part but it is what is so might as well accept and move on. I doubt the new people making armada will reverse course so gotta just get over it and figure something out. Hopefully someone on etsy prints and sells the upgrades as minis and the ships in tarot size. I’ll pay for em.
