Oh man, a "Han shot first" discussion in 2019. Look at what you're doing to us FFG!
I do like to imagine someone telling a rebel agent like Cassian about what a scummy character Han must be to have shot an armed bounty hunter pointing a gun and threatening to kill him. Obviously not Cassian himself...

The "must be able to play two different sides" was one of the best parts of the late, lamented Star Wars LCG and I would legit like to see more asymmetrical play in missions and map design, especially if there is ever a 2nd edition of IA. Say, one player as offense and one as defense and with each player having a list for each. Kind of bringing campaign and skirmish missions more in line with each other.

I'll throw my hat in the ring:

I thought I'd better add an explanation of this card.  There was a lot to correct.  So Fett gains Vehicle, something that is much needed.  He loses Battle Presence which is replaced by Flamethrower.  I think this is thematically better.  Since the flamethrower causes damage and weaken, I figured it was good to get rid of those two items and replace them with surge for 2 damage, and surge for 2 recovery.  This brings him more in line with other damage dealers.  Then I replaced Battle Discipline with something that was cribbed from other characters, and something that happened in the App with Jet Troopers.  Whenever B man exits his space, he can singe the eyebrows off one adjacent hostile and cause them damage and strain.  I think this more than makes up for the loss of pierce.  He no longer has 2 accuracy as part of Battle Discipline, but he is a 3 dice character, and his new damage efforts are based around closer in attacks, so I thought it was an acceptable loss.  Fett retains his fixed Block and Evade, as well as Mobile.
Edit 4/11/2019:  I've modified the card the wording on Battle Discipline.  I still think flamethrower fits Boba.  Not because he ever used it in the films, but it has become associated with him, and Shayla already has the rope.  I had considered making Pierce 1, Pierce 2 as well.  I think it would better fit a 10 point character.

True, I'd also expect him to be above Bossk and IG because he's much more iconic... but with the three of them plus Dengar already 40 points, there's simply no room for Zuckuss and 4-LOM as well. Even if they were 2 and 3 points, Boba would have to drop to 8, and he can't be better than IG if he's only 8 points. (Maybe you could make it work if you redesigned/recosted all the existing cards as well as adding the other two, but that's way out of scope and a much bigger change).
I don't see this as a problem. You can't take Luke, Obi-Wan, Leia, Han, Chewie, R2, and 3PO all in the same list and they (or some combination of some of them) are the core characters of the films that defined the entire setting. Why should it be important to be able to take all six bounty hunters, when five of them appeared on screen for all of five seconds? Far more important to make the only one that most casual Star Wars fans could name, properly impactful. A 10-13 point Boba (depending where he ends up) feels right. An 8-point Boba doesn't, not to me.

I would expect him to be the most powerful of the ESB Bounty Hunters, probably just above Bossk and IG in cost/power and between those two in terms of survivability and lethality. Ideally the six would be priced enough to fit in a list with Zuckuss and 4-LOM as more support types.

I don't think anyone is arguing any of them are terrible, just that their mix of types hurts their synergy enough that without SC, competitive lists would likely swap out some of the Spectres for other figures and thus remove the "whole Ghost crew" theme.
That said, what about something like:
"At the start of the round, choose one keyword possessed by an undefeated friendly figure. Until the end of the round, each friendly figure gains that keyword.
While adjacent to a friendly figure, friendly figures gain <1 block> while defending and <1 hit> while attacking."

If a strong negative reaction in the community to a product licensed from a Disney property is all it takes to sink it, one wonders how Battlefront is still supported.
While I am avidly not a proponent of "the customer is always right," it's not good business to dismiss all complaints out of hand either. There was a lot of praise for the Vader, Han, Chewie, and IG fixes so certainly it seems like the community can be positive.
I've never played a single tournament (since we couldn't even get four people together any of the times we tried to have one in my area) but I love campaign and casual play. I'll certainly be keeping the game around as a board game and occasionally casual skirmish game. But at the very least, it would be nice to know if I need to rush to fill holes in my collection before it all goes out of print and if the app support will continue (and add Heart and the small box campaigns).
Ultimately it has been clear that IA is not a focus for FFG. After seeing a powerful, frustrating, and meta disruptive list like the triple Upsilons in X-Wing get eliminated before big tournament season (despite in no way being the only list appearing and winning at tournaments), it becomes even more glaring when a Worlds tournament in IA has a top 16 with 13 near identical lists. "If you'd stop complaining about being neglected, maybe we'll stop neglecting you" is some Dickensian s***.
