Apparently they have been playtesting a SSD. Any news on that?

The point of transports is not only getting your troops faster to a location but also unscathed. In addition, if one player has a troop transport and the other doesn't, then the player that doesn't can make sure that breakthrough isn't picked in the 'mini game' if they think they have no way of dealing with the transport. Honestly, blocking out units beforehand because they provide tactical uses that make a list better at certain objectives is a bad idea, since every unit does this to some extend, its the whole point of having different units.

It's even worse than that, technology in Star Wars has not only mostly platformed but actually regressed in some (or many) cases. As an example the Interdictor-class Sith cruiser (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Interdictor-class_cruiser) which is only 600 meters long but comparable in power to a 900 meters long Victory II class Star Destroyer AND has gravity well interdiction technology which has only just been reinvented again by the Empire. So while its safe to say that First Order / New Republic ships are slightly better than their Imperial / Rebellion counterparts, and those are slightly better than their Clone Wars predecessors (due to this being 1 continuous period of mostly war), its quite possible that a fleet from say the Great Hyperspace War would wipe the floor with the more modern ships.

They should have made the model the same length as an ISD. I believe they calculated the actual size from the movie to be over 3km, but then someone decided it was only 1.2km long for some reason so now we have that as the official size. Just looks off seeing it dwarfed by an ISD in Armada while in the movies you didn't get that sense at all.

Spirit of the rules vs letter of the rules. Imo you just get the VP's for the Fleet Command you have equipped at the time of destruction, and not those that you have switched between in the previous turns, since those are functionally free.

How about: Counter intelligence: confers immunity to the Intel Officer effect on the ship Cassian Andor is assigned to. Something like 2-3 points?

The former Rebel leadership must have collectively facepalmed when they saw the Raddus hyperspace into the Mega-star destroyer. "Why didn't we think about doing this vs both Deathstars"

I use the following common sense rule for such situations: when you have to try hard to find a reason/rule interpretation to do something, don't do something.

Considering how several very large and armored ships were taken out by lucky hits from WWI & WWII bombers its not that unreasonable. What that resistance bomber did was more akin to a B-52 bomber dropping its entire payload on a single nimitz-class supercarrier and hitting with every single bomb.  It's more amazing that the Imperial factions keep building these huge ships despite that.

Black dice aren't necessarily missiles, just a representation of a ship's lethality at that range.

Having the legs-torso-arms-head separate would have been nice, but yeah nothing you can't fix with a sharp hobby knife and some greenstuff.

Would be nice. Honestly they need to introduce transporter technology into Starwars if they keep making the ships bigger. It'll take two years to disembark the crew for a week of shore leave at this rate.
