  1. The upgrades on your ships don't look as efficient as they could be, this would be my take on your list: ISD Kuat Refit (112) • Grand Admiral Thrawn (32) • Gunnery Team (7) • Reinforced Blast Doors (5) • Leading Shots (4) • Assault Concussion Missiles (7) • Avenger (5) = 172 Points Victory II (85) • Minister Tua (2) • Gunnery Team (7) • Quad Battery Turrets (5) • Overload Pulse (8) • Reinforced Blast Doors (5) = 112 Points Gladiator I (56) • Ordnance Experts (4) • Engine Techs (8) • Assault Concussion Missiles (7) • Demolisher (10) = 85 Points Gozanti Assault Carriers (28) • Comms Net (2) = 30 Points Squadrons: = 0 Points Total Points: 399
  2. I would recommend going learner on upgrades so you can include the Nebulon-B: Faction: Rebel Commander: General Dodonna Assault Frigate Mk2 B (72) • Expanded Hangar Bay (5) = 77 Points Pelta Command Ship (60) • General Dodonna (20) = 80 Points Nebulon-B Escort Frigate (57) • Redemption (8) = 65 Points CR90 Corvette A (44) = 44 Points Squadrons: • Luke Skywalker (20) • 3 x X-wing Squadron (39) = 59 Points Total Points: 325
  3. And the reason the ships in the prequel triology look cleaner and sometimes more advanced is because the republic now empire was bank rupted by the clone wars as that was part of sidious plan and instead of paying off the dept he increased his army and navy to sizes that have never been seen before and improving on older designs thus driving the galaxy into poverty. I really like the droid voices, and they make sense the neimodians used droids as bodyguards as they grew up in a culture were they can't trust any living being. The droid remarks serve two benfits to make the neimodians feel smarter then them and to feel safe as they sound pretty harmless. If you watch the clone wars they definitely hit some comedy gold and make them sorta seem like good guys making them more relatable as neimodians are scared of their own shadow, how much more scared would they be of an army of silent emotionless robots shaped as their skeletons. Both the rebels and the empire have used modified clone era ships at one point or another, so its not to far a stretch, and they would also be widely available after the clone wars.
  4. Yeah i just made that list off the top of my head, i never actually saw the 9 or 10 Y-wing build
  5. Whats with all the prequel hate, i myself actually prefer the prequel trioligy and liked jar jar when i was younger, though yeah i think that is on a corvette
  6. Maybe like this: Rebels - 300 Assault Frigate Mark II B - 106 - Garm Bel Iblis - Veteran Captain - Expanded Hanger Bay - Flight Controllers Assault Frigate Mark II B - 94 - Gallant Haven - Veteran Captain - Expanded Hanger Bay - Flight Controllers 10 Y-wing Squadrons - 100
  7. You could try this variation of your list: Rebels - 292 Assault Frigate Mark II A - 86 - Paragon Nebulon-B Escort Frigate - 77 - General Dodonna Nebulon-B Escort Frigate - 64 - Salvation Nebulon-B Escort Frigate - 65 - Redemption You would know have solid anti-squadron if you can overlap your fireing arcs of your nebs as they want to be shooting squadrons with those side arcs rather then ships. Your fourth ship now has a perpuse rather then just maybe shot things. General Dodonna with the increased damage of paragon, salvation, a assault frigate from B to A, and a corvette to a Nebulon gives you reliable damage as well.
  8. Yeah but it had to look hilarious and awesome seeing that many TIE stands swarming. Yes Yes it did.
  9. Just the other day i played a list like this Imperials: 296 Victory II-class Star Destroyer - 123 - Grand Moff Tarkin Victory II-class Star Destroyer - 85 11 Tie Fighter Squadrons - 88 All the tie fighters except for 2 on 1 health died, against 2 escort friagates and 4 X-wings + Luke and at least 2 x-wings were still alive as well. Though i do admit it was a bad idea to place some of them in the overlapping fire of 2 escort frigates
  10. CR90 Corvette A's are good as red dice are really good, you could try a list like this: Rebels - 296 Nebulon-B Escort Frigate - 77 - General Dodonna CR90 Corvette A - 44 CR90 Corvette A - 44 CR90 Corvette A - 44 CR90 Corvette A - 44 A-wing Squadron - 11 A-wing Squadron - 11 A-wing Squadron - 11 Y-wing Squadron - 10
  11. If i were to run 3 at 300 this is the list i would use: Rebels - 296 Assault Frigate Mark II A - 101 - General Dodonna Assault Frigate Mark II A - 81 Assault Frigate Mark II A - 81 A-wing Squadron - 11 A-wing Squadron - 11 A-wing Squadron - 11
  12. Most of those lists seem to be going lite on capital ships, except of course for the four star destroyer list
  13. I prefer the rebels, though that's probably because i love the look of the nebulon-b
  14. How do they work do they add any more specialisations to the game that can't be found In the core or supplements. Or are they just for reference purposes?
  15. Just an idea of how to make your list legal: Imperials - 296 Victory I-class Star Destroyer - 97 - Admiral Motti Victory I-class Star Destroyer - 85 - Dominator Gladiator I-class Star Destroyer - 66 - Demolisher Tie Fighter Squadron - 8 2 Tie Interceptor Squadrons - 22 2 Tie Bomber Squadrons - 18
  16. CORRECTION: we don't see venator class star destroyers being loaded with troops in episode II, those were ACCLAMATOR CLASS ASSAULT SHIPS. Even in the clone wars series, they never land venators, they had to use LAAT/i gunships to drop infantry, and LAAT/v for vehicles. The Acclamator ships were how the republic got large amounts of troops and vehicles on the ground at once. Consular class cruisers could also be able to drop drops.
  17. You could easily fit a third assault frigate in, if you drop some upgrades: Rebels - 296 Assault Frigate Mark II A - 101 - General Dodonna Assault Frigate Mark II A - 81 Assault Frigate Mark II A - 81 A-Wing Squadron - 11 A-Wing Squadron - 11 A-Wing Squadron - 11
  18. He has alot of long range shooting making the victory II a good upgrade, and his list is a strong one so I wouldn't feel to bad, but so is yours its just bad luck, also rebels have never been under powered they can pull off many strong builds, even when only using the core set lucky armada is balanced in that both sides are good.
  19. Well apparently the second ewok movie is pretty dark
  20. B-Wings: Pros: +1 Blue Anti-squadron +1 Blue Anti-ship Doesn't have heavy (not sure that this is actually a pro) Y-Wing: Pros: +1 hull +1 Speed 4 points cheaper They seem fairly balanced against each other, though i prefer Y-Wings because they are the cheapest squadrons rebels have access to.
  21. Do you have an idea of this list to show? So where the black dice of the victory I to short? How did your fighters go?
  22. I would drop the weapons liason and expanded hanger for the dominator title Imperials - 288 Victory I-class Star Destroyer - 121 - Grand Moff Tarkin - Enhanced Armament Victory I-class Star Destroyer - 95 - Dominator - Enhanced Armament 7 Tie Fighter Squadrons - 56 Howlrunner Tie Fighter Squadron - 16
  23. You could try something like this; Imperials - 395 Victory I-class Star Destroyer - 111 - Admiral Screed - Corrupter - Assault Concussive Missiles Gladiator I-class Star Destroyer - 73 - Demolisher - Assault Concussive Missiles Gladiator I-class Star Destroyer - 63 - Assault Concussive Missiles Darth Vader Tie Advanced Squadron - 21 Howlrunner Tie Fighter Squadron - 16 Soontir Fel Tie Interceptor Squadron - 18 2 Tie Advanced Squadrons - 24 3 Tie Interceptor Squadrons - 33 4 Tie Bomber Squadrons - 36
