  1. Ha ha, am I excited... That's a good question, maybe I'm just... FREAKING OUT I've waited for what feels like forever for a true Terrinoth game (Descent deviates a little quite a bit) to actually receive a lot of development. With development comes lore. With lore comes books. With books coming effing BARON ZACHARETH.
  2. That rage attack could be a cool lore card. I do like Crush as a heroic ability.
  3. Well, it is a Forest Guardian after all. As long as we avoid that in the other units, and make the other legend not too generic, we should be fine. And since it has one move (and has Guardian in the name), it will likely stay on your half of the field all game, meaning that having a forest is easier. Plus, with the way the ability works, even just one forest hex can give it impressive range.
  4. What if you made the Forest Guardian 1 move, but then gave it essentially the Shortcut ability from Mountain Giant? That way your opponent would be afraid to get near forests for fear of the Guardian jumping out at them!
  5. They could pull a lot of the Descent monsters to be a mercenary faction. Beastmen, Flesh Moulders, Merriods, Ice Wurms, the lot.
  6. Piecing stuff together. I have a Terrinoth obsession. In this case I am referring to knowledge from previews of Battlelore Second Edition. By the way, it bugs me that we know nothing about Frostgate. It is one of the great eight independent cities after all!
  7. Shoot just realized that pic was in a foreign language. Let's find one for the english people out there.
  8. For reference (since the new board doesn't have everything), Greyhaven is due North of Forge, Frostgate and Nerekhall are north on the road that you can see leading off the map, and Vynevale is south of Sundergard and Riverwatch. Greyhaven is the only city you need to remember of those. Magical university, where most human mages live, very important city. Not under control of the Daqan Lords.
  9. Don't get me started on those maps! But the map from the new (dead?) Runebound works nicely:
  10. Have you played Runewars? Because Waiqar always wins. Even when I don't play as him!
  11. Wait a minute. So this game takes place during the Second Darkness? Weird. Because it sounded like they had told all of the story up to where the game begins, if you read the ending again.
  12. It's not rage if I agree with the anger. It is rage if I don't agree with the anger. Just saying. Let's just stop discussing whether or not a post is valid and should have been posted and instead focus on the game. Thanks.
  13. I find it interesting that they left out a few minor details in their post. Such as that Waiqar's vow was made with the power of the single shard he rested from the grasp of the dead wizard, and that the acolyte didn't turn himself into the crow, Timorran did, using the same shard. And they left out the bit about how the Dragon Wars amplified the power of the Timmoran Shards that the acolyte spread. I know it's minor details, but still I want consistency here.
  14. Post acknowledging that I totally forgot that there was an off-topic section.
  15. Post disliking how many TIE variations there are.
