  1. I think it would be cool if they came out with a Star Wars Armada soundboard for additional immersion. Stuff like fighter blaster sounds, TIE Fighter sounds, X-Wing sounds, that I can press when squadrons engage each other. Also stuff like quotes like "Intensify forward batteries!" or other new quotes that match the cards or tokens. Then make sounds for both the Empire side and Rebel side.
  2. WTF, is a TIE Phantom? The most badassery fighter the Empire has is the TIE Defender. Don't tell me FFG just made some ship up like the Raider-class ship in Armada.
  3. A merchant on Amazon is saying that the ship date is May 31st... http://www.amazon.com/dp/1633440001/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=18831DEPPXOON&coliid=I3QKC2VA6LPG1
  4. WOW. Just the tool I was looking for. Makes building fleets so easy. THANKS so much!
  5. But you can pre measure... Wouldn't you choose the side or yaw that won't cause you to collide (if you wanted to)?
  6. She doesn't know how to fly a Tie Advanced. She's a Tie Fighter pilot. You can't put her in a Tie Advance.
  7. These aren't the best shots, trying to find better: OMG, it's as big as his head!!! Awesome.
  8. That's a nice discount. Question. If I preorder, do they charge my card now or wait till it comes out? I don't want them to charge my card now.
  9. Thank you. I think that is the exact thinking people "complaining" about the high cost. I already bought the core set so this is my thinking also.
  10. The VT-49 is $40 MSRP. Were I a betting man, I would bet that the Imperial Star Destroyer will be at least 25% more imposing than a VT-49. So now we base cost on how imposing it is? For everyone's info, I'm just playing devil's advocate here. Not really try to argue with everyone, but I do think it's a little expensive and hope they lower the prices so more people can get in to this game. Let the friendly discussion continue.
  11. The 76mm gun on the 'Easy Eight' Sherman (which 'Fury' was one) could penetrate a Tiger I's front armor from ~500m. Such an encounter would certainly be bad for the Shermans, but not as bad as the movie depicts. Of course, both sides made some pretty stupid decisions in that movie ("we're going to send your tanks out alone, unsupported, while the M8 Greyhounds that you see as you're leaving just get to chill..." "hey, there's an American tank all alone, but all these Panzerfausts are heavy, so we're going to set them down and march in formation towards it..." "hey, there were Germans in this forest, but we're going to get out of our tanks because the Nazis never had snipers..."), so the Tarkin-style overconfidence of the Tiger commander just goes with the theme. Fury was a good movie but unbeliveable. The tiger battle was a little silly. Also the last fight was stupid. There was NO WAY one sherman was able to take out so many troops. Why would you have your troops run straight at it?
  12. In Star Wars Rebellion, I always have atleast one Interdictor in my fleet, otherwise those Rebel scum always run away.
