  1. Thank you for all of the responses everyone. Much appreciated. Yes I will put it somewhere but wanted some accuracy. This does help. The map I have to disagree with as the layout makes not a lot of sense compared to the latest map released from FFG from the force awakens beginner RPG.

    Interesting as in the show they mention it close to a hyperspace trade route. Misdirection?

    One day hopefully we will finally get a location.

  2. Hello all,

    It's not on the new map from the force awakens beginner RPG Box.

    The closest I have come to getting is that it is near Hutt space because of the quick hyperspace route they took in one of the Rebels Episodes to kessel and mentioned how close it was and the mention that they are near a major trade route. Ezra also seems to know who Jabba the Hutt is since he references him more then once which leads me to believe they may be close to a Hutt space planet or near the system.

    The Lothal Sector and Lothal doesn't exist nor does the planet Garel on any Map officially. I know that rebels came after the majority of the maps.

    I'm disappointed that with the force awakens box they had the perfect opportunity to place it on the map and update it.

    Does anyone have an idea, leads, accurate information that could lead to the whereabouts Lothal. I'd like to introduce it into our campaign. I have actually mentioned it in one of our games from an NPC trader. I don't mind just making it up but I would love to see some accuracy.

    I also noticed after picking up the new creatures adversary deck the Loth-cat is in it and talks about Lothal briefly.

    Any help would be great. Or is this just Disney/Star Wars just not giving enough official information yet?

  3. Hello Fleet Admirals

    I just wanted some clarification on modifying dice and Warlord.

    Example:

    I have a Victory Class II with Warlord, Sensor Team and Leading Shots

    If I roll a two blank dice. With sensor team I can spend 1 die to change another die to the "Accuracy" Icon.

    From there can I "Modify" the die I just changed to an accuracy to a hit icon as per warlord?

    Second question to this.

    Can I change the Accuracy Icon to a double hit wth Warlord? (Like how screed can change a black dice to a hit.)

    Looking at the RRG I can't see anything stopping me from doing this.

    Can someone comfirm this and clarify this before I try my list out with this combo.

  4. 0 Fighters would mean that my Tie bombers and Ryhmer would chew you up and eat your Alive. Even with the 3 Awings. My tie fighter squadrn would tie you up and still have my bombers close in with Ryhmer.

    I keep seeing people not take any squadrons or the absolute minimum and get wrecked everytime. Squadrons are there for a reason.

    Although in saying that the A-Wings are a good choice for speed and tycho is amazing.


  5. Hi there fellow pilots and commanders

    I have now played 10 games of Star Wars Armad (7 with the proper rules) (thank you ffg community for your help.)

    I have also watched 6 games.

    In all 16 games the Empire has won. Demo Games and Fleet Building

    The issue I am having is that with only the core set. Fleet building is limited. ( which I get its just a starter set)

    In ALL 16 games the empire has won. (Keep in mind this is with multiple different opponents and people from x-wing veterans to newbies.

    My question for fleet building is just using the core set what reccomendation would you suggest for a Rebel Fleet building list?

    The reason is that for many different combos. Yes I can inflict some damage and focus fire on the empire. But even focusing everything I can I am unable to drop it. I am talking about concentrate fire frm both ships for rebels front arc full dice potential and even if I do 4-5 damage it just isnt enough. With the engineering of 4 and possible upgrades the star destroyer easily repairs.

    Is the starter set unbalanced?

    What does it take to destroy the empire fleet?

    And what does a Rebel player take while very patiently waiting for wave 1?


  6. It says that a ship can make two attacks from two seperate hullzones per turn.

    If I choose to shoot enemy squadrons in one of my arcs. Does that count as one shot from my ship?

    Does that mean I can use both attacks from my ship to target squadrons as long as I am firing from two different hull zones?

    Or is it anti squadron fire. Then I get two attacks with my ship?

    I have been trying all of the new ships for Scum lately and have been enjoying and winning 4 out of the past 5 games with them.

    I love the Y-Wings for Scum. Looking for thoughts on the following list:

    5 Syndicate Thugs with AutoBlaster Turrets

    Pros:

    -40 hit point for the enemy to chew through

    -Potential of up to 10 autodamage a turn.

    -5 ships with 360 degree firing Arc

    -5 Ship Build

    Cons

    -Lack of manuevering

    -Turrets are only Range 1

    What are your thoughts and suggestions or experiance with this list?
