  1. With Sloane TIE Fighters are pretty **** good for the points they have been my go to with her

As a person who is just getting back into the game after a 6 Month brake only every coming here every so often to have a gander at whats what I think the game is in a good position and the points seam to be pretty good all round but if they were to do anything like improve some ships they could just do another campaign box and give us new ship cards for older ships or some sexy new title's and new Admiral's... Just a thought... Also I am so Glad that the Glad is still doing strong as it was and still is my Favourite ship... By miles...

The Biggest Problem with a Pass rule is it would just highly change the game and render small ships and flotillas almost useless if you could just park 2/3 ISD's in front of 2/3 MC80 Libs and just slowly slug it out by saying pass till some one gives up and strikes, that would make the game extremely boring and would cut out all the fun and strategy to the game. It would just end in a pointless who shoots first wins dual.
  4. I wish other gaming systems player base had that mentality, When I first got into warmachine/Hordes the only locals were all tournament players and they just wrecked me every week I went. I dont relay Bother with OP fleets that are the Flavor of the month, I tend to just run what im comfortable with and slowly make changes till I feel its at the right power from what I want. I may take some ideas from OP lists but I would never out right copy them as it to me it would feel like iv done non of the work while under list construction. Then their is the playing part as If I dont feel comfortable with the list or it just dosnt work to my playstyle then I kinda just drop it or tweek it. then again I see OP lists and even when I have tried to play them in the past I kinda sucked with them like I get the concept of some of them but dont get the Practice of them.

Iv yet to find people who are like DIS HERE BE TEH BEST LIST FOR WINNING EVER, But I have found people talking about list ideas that make me go yeah I wanna try that or if im on you tube Like Crabbok's videos on list ideas are always fun and interesting as It dose give me ideas and plans but Iv yet to truly find some ones list that im like yeah thats gonna win ALL THE TIME SO I MUST COPY YO. Plus their is some lists and Ideas that people put up and im like yeah I dont see how this works or how to run it, Like I get the concept just not the execution.
  7. I am tempted to try out a 3 Arquitens list using Vader as my Admiral for that sweet sweet rerolly goodness, Turn them bad dice into deadly dice or knowing my luck................Blanks............

I usually pick a Ship like my go to in almost every list is the Gladiator and work a good fleet plan around that but I am finding that it ends up my list becomes this one trick pony and my opponent can plan around how my list works and with how my lists turn out it ends up getting close and personal with Gladiators and Raiders with screed unloading crits for days while my Tie Fighters eat up fighters and bombers while my Decimators help me to punch out support ships. I was wondering what works for other people as iv came to the conclusion that I think my way I start a fleet plan needs to change to improve my lists and how I play the game in General as I might be trying out my regionals next year once I get more comfortable with the game and other list styles.

  10. I Have Found With Getting Back Into The Game A couple Months Ago That Some Admirals Like Sloane, Screed Or Konstantine sort of Force You In some Regards To Play Specific Ships Or Fighters. Like Screed Loves The Gladiator and kinda Likes The Raiders A little As Pocket Destroyers/Anti Fighter.

I was wondering how do you plan your fleet? do you pick the Admiral then work around that or do you pick them around ships or better yet you get an idea for how the fleet should work then choose the Admiral and Ships/Fighters to do that job? Iv been wondering this as Iv noticed I kinda pick A ship then work a list around it, although saying that Screed and Sloane is life for me at the moment........

I like using Raiders as a mix of anti fighter support for my Screed Glad build so I tend to give them any one of the titles, Quad laser turrets and Assault Proton Torpedoes and I find that works pretty **** well with them although with the Raider 1 it comes out at 58 points and for that ship can be kinda expensive but with my player base spamming Xwings it can Flack them all to death then Punch A nice crit into a Mk2 Assault Frigate or other ships that may cripple it enough for my Demolisher to swing in and punch it out.
