You absolutely need Synchronicity, card was made for this deck. Swiftness I would probably cut, you'll be doing enough action cheating with Rey. If you can get another Vibroknife, that obviously would be an auto-include. Close Quarters Assault can be a neat trick to blow out your opponent's hand. They never see it coming. Been playing this deck since Awakenings, so hopefully some of that helps.

Dang, Mace is strong. And they picked the best possible flavor text for him. Also, Heroes finally get a cheap elite character not named Rey.

eLeia/eMonMothma is pretty fun, tons of focus. However Leia can go down pretty quickly and Mon is pretty much screwed with no base damage sides at that point. I'm planning on going with Leia and Baze. I'll probably run her elite and Baze with a single die. Mono red heroes got some better removal this set with Suppression and Rebel Assault, which is something it didn't really have in Awakenings.

24 person store championship at Around the Table in Lynnwood, WA. Four round swiss with a cut to top 4. Top 4: 1st: ePoe/eMaz 2nd: ePalp 3rd-4th Vader/Raider Pretty normal. I played Rey/QG and went 2-2. Was randomly selected to win the Phasma promo so there's that.

Played several games against my friend's eObi-Wan/Maz deck last night. Honestly thought the idea was weird until he'd roll out Maz and focus old Ben's die to 3 sides and Force Speed specials. There is so much focus in that deck, he discarded to reroll only once that entire game.

The other day in a tourney I played against a Luminara/Hired Gun x 2 deck. I thought it was silly until be pulled off a Planned Explosion and killed Rey lol

Kind of seems like the opposite of Jango/Veers, which was oppressive for most of the early meta, in terms of being pricey. That deck had no legendaries.

Deck doesn't seem very hard to play. Put Fast Hands on Poe, roll him out, resolve a special if you can, pitch a card to it. Roll out Maz, resolve her focus to change whichever of Poe's die didn't roll a special, resolve and pitch a card to it. I discarded a U-Wing and a Thermal Detonator, your characters have 5 damage each. Claim to trigger Uprising, then do it again next turn. Even worse when it starts off with a Hit & Run on Poe. I'm probably missing something, but that's pretty much it, right? At least as far as the optimal sequence goes.

Ackbar works pretty well, also has a discard side and that double focus really helps.

Yeah this deck is no fun to play against. If you don't win by turn 3, you don't win (at least in my experience). You usually lose a character in round 2. What's a good way to counter this deck? Just remove Poe die as often as you can?

Did you happen to play the Leia/Ackbar deck? I'm still working on running this with SOR updates.
