  1. I love Fantasy Flight Games and their event system is incredible, but trying to make event listings for tournaments and now the championship is hard. (I help a local game store with their event outreach.) So today I grabbed the logos I could find and put together a few banners you can use for your own local AGOTLCG events. Let us get more people playing this awesome game! Scroll down to get the banners: http://www.gamesofberkeley.com/blogs/news/86136963-game-of-thrones-the-card-game-store-championship If you are a local store and have ideas for banners you wish existed, feel free to let me know in a PM here or in the comments.

  6. Just wanted to share the 40K tournament at Games of Berkeley on August 15. https://www.facebook.com/events/136828396650869/ Plus a salute to the Bay Area FB Group for 40K players: https://www.facebook.com/groups/737376469741001/
  7. This was my 3rd Game of Thrones event, but instead of being stuck in the cramped space of Games of Berkeley I got to bring their games to a local tudor-styled pub/restaurant. The Freehouse in Berkeley is just an amazing place for this kind of game. Over 70 people came out to play fantasy themed games. 1/3rd of them were there for Game of Thrones. Good times all around! Lots more pics on the blog of the store: http://www.gamesofberkeley.com/blogs/news/37959171-games-of-thrones-at-the-freehouse-event-recap
  8. Your advice made my two previous Game of Thrones evening into a blast. So I'm running a third one. This time I'm bringing it to a location worthy of kings; The Freehouse in Berkeley. It's warm tudor style is the perfect fit for our game. If you're in the San Francisco Bay area I hope you'll come by! https://www.facebook.com/events/399457470225692/ Who wouldn't want to sit in front of this fireplace? 9. Just wondering; have anyone tried a 12 player game? That is; 2 players are in charge of each house and have to debate among themselves even about what to do? I played with a partner last night and it brought a whole new level of enjoyment to the game as our two heads made better decisions vs just having one of us. The game didn't slow down either, since we had a judge running a timer for each round. Recommended!
  10. Exactly what r1ddl3 says; editing the cards and removing the craziest ones makes for a better experience. I prefer to play without the card and only adding them when I'm playing with a group of experienced players. For that purpose they work nicely.
  11. The last event went without a hitch. Three games ran simultaneously without a single hiccup or display of poor sportsmanship! 14 players had never played before! Double thanks to awesome Austin for bringing a copy of the game and teaching it to his table! If you're in the East Bay area; why not come by on April 4th? https://www.facebook.com/events/733470576752211/
  12. The evening was a success! Thank you so much guys! We had 16 people show up for the event, which gave us 3 games running. 14 people had never played the game before, but they all managed to grasp it by round 2 as they all were very interested in the game. Amazing fun and everyone loved the game. Will definitely arrange another night in the future! You can see shots from the event here: https://www.facebook.com/BerkeleyGames/photos_stream
  13. Thanks Joe! Seems like this is a job for... Mapmaking-man!
