Thanks I realized that and changed to a blaster turret on the hawk and HLCs on the M3s but had to drop the hotshots.

2 x M3 Cartel Spacers with Mangler cannons
2 x Z95 Binayre Pirates with Hotshot Blasters and Munitions Failsafe
1 x HWK Torkil Mux autoblaster turret, recon specialist and shield upgrade
My thought is I can throw a lot of dice at target with crits, i can arc dodge and okay versus arc dodgers with the hotshot blasters and the autoblaster turret and mux can help with high PS targets, like the phantom.
I also have a variant with HLCs on the M3s but no hotshot blasters on the Z95s.
Thoughts/feedback?

OK, I am gainfully employed, married, have a house, and a child, and my wife hates gaming. She says I pulled a bait and switch on her.

I buy my miniatures by exchanging Bing search rewards for Amazon gift cards. For every 500 point in rewards you can get a $5 gift card. You can get up to 25 points a day by using their search engine, often more when they offer bonus points. I average about $10 a month, so every 6-8 weeks I can buy a miniature from Amazon. You can also get bonus points for referring people to the rewards, up to 500 points. I actually set up a second account to double down on points. Send me a PM if you want to try the program and I will refer you. You don't need a reference to set up an account.
This keeps my wife happy as my gaming habit doesn't affect the family budget and the transactions don't show up on the credit card.
If you are scrupulous about paying off your credit card you can also get one that offers cash back on purchases and use that cash back for gaming. My wife and I use our credit card when ever we can to rack up points, but this only works if you pay off the card every month. DO NOT try this if you carry a balance as the interest will FAR out weigh any bonus.

I posted something similar last week, but my thought was let lower point value ships with the same PS as the phantom win the initiative. This curbs the phantom's advantage versus smaller fighters, but it wouldn't make high point value ships like Fat Han more powerful.
My thought is this wouldn't have to be a phantom only rule. In the case of a PS tie the lower PV ship wins initiative for that movement/action/attack rather than basing initiative off of total build value for the list. It would make a lot more ships viable versus both Fat Han and the Phantom.

I am a relatively new player and might be reading the rules incorrectly or I might be unaware of a faq but I wonder if just removing the imperial auto initiative win would level the playing field with the phantom? Rebel PS 9 pilots would potentially get to shoot before a recloak if they won initiative bid.
In the tournament rules, there is no auto imperial initiative. The guy with a lower squad count decides, who has initiative. If both field a list worth the same cost, a coin is tossed to determine who gets to decide who has initiative.
What about changing the rule so in the case of a PS Tie the lower point value ship wins rather than the whole list value? So in this case other PS 9 ship that cost fewer points than the phantom would be to shoot before a recloak?

I was thinking this plus accuracy corrector on Ten Numb might be interesting.
It won't work with Accuracy Corrector. The AC erases all of your [eyeball] results (because it overwrites all your results), leaving nothing for Calculation to do.
OK thanks for the correction.

Because of the rule that says you can only use an effect once per trigger. Why can it only be used once per attack?
An a-wing with 2 calculations and 2 focus tokens could use them both.
Don't think that us really a cost effective combo though.
Could you use it on the twice on the new Y-Wing title that allows a secondary attack after a primary?

What about a pack with the Ghost as a large base ship and the shuttle as a small based ship and setting their points so that they can be combined for a 100 point build and use dials close to the yt1300 and HWK-290 respectively.

I am new to X Wing but not gaming and I wanted to run a couple of B Wing and HWK builds past the group and see if my thinking works in the game. The first build is to maximize offense and damage consistency. The idea is Ten would fire first in most cases getting 5 attack dice (with the buff from Jan) and some damage is going to stick.Airen would provide additional actions and strip stress from Jan, gaining a focus in the process for the HWK's turret. Additionally the HWK will be able to maneuver in formations with the fighters better with engine upgrade. The second build is a control build that would be able to throw stress early because of Roark's ability.I went back and forth on the B wing with Predator or Wing man to keep the X wing clean of stress but settled on Predator for the extra offensive capabilities.I think both builds could deal with phantoms well but the damage output build would struggle in target rich environments. Would I just be better served with a Fat Han build?Damage Output:Ten Numb (31)Veteran Instincts (1)Heavy Laser Cannon (7)Mercenary Copilot (2)B-Wing/E2 (1)Jan Ors (25)Determination (1)Blaster Turret (4)Kyle Katarn (3)Engine Upgrade (4)Airen Cracken (19)Wingman (2)Total: 100orControl:Ten Numb (31)Predator (3)Flechette Cannon (2)Mercenary Copilot (2)B-Wing/E2 (1)Roark Garnet (19)Ion Cannon Turret (5)Tactician (2)Rookie Pilot (21)R3-A2 (2)Bandit Squadron Pilot (12)Total: 100

I've been looking a list like this with Mux to deal with high PS ships like the phantom.
