Bids do not need a cap. Bids are a better chance to move at your choice upgrade. Bid points are not something un-used. A player gets something for points not put into the list. Points spent on a bid should be able to be scored without tabling the entire list just like points spent on any other upgrade are able to be scored. Points spent on a bid need to be scorable without needing to kill the entire list.

Those are the officially announced and previewed products. I am talking about the four expansions "unofficially" announced in a stream. There has not been anything on them since. Today's products are not as desirable without the additional expansions. I think we got just a look at preliminary artwork. There has been pretty much nothing since. EDIT: As far as I can tell the remaining in some way reliably announced items remaining are: Today's Clone Wars Armada products (which seem to be shipping.) Q1 Clone Wars expansions 2 for Separatists and 2 for Republic informally announced/teased but no pre-order or other information presented. Legion is showing Republic and Separatists Specialist expansions up for pre-order on the FFG and Asmodee site. The Asmodee site is showing a Lando and a Kallus operative expansion pack up for pre-order. As far as these new squadron packs go I don't think we're really much past "leaked" or "hinted at" not even up to "teased" really by the way the hype trains leave the station these days.

My primary concern remains the unofficially announced Clone Wars Armada expansions. I'd really like to know if we should expect those.

They can restrict any upgrade by any means they like. We have all sorts of chassis restrictions and faction restrictions already. No reason we can't have mods that can only go on some ships and not on everything with a mod slot.

I am not angry at FFG for the studio change. I am angry that I have not been assured that the expected products for which I have paid pre-orders are going to ship. I based one of those pre-orders on informal but official promise of additional products in January. I DO NOT CARE WHOSE JOB IT IS. One of these companies needs to tell us what is going on with that stuff. What did we get though? A statement on OP. At this point I'm pretty much left to hope I won't be ripped off. Any word I might get from customer service is worthless. If it isn't out for all and sundry via an actual press release there is nothing I can do about it if they break their word. Everyone in charge is fired and we're just going to leave you to hope things will be fine as there are exciting ideas of OP. I don't care if the points were available. The points weren't in the app so I just blew off Epic all the way around. I couldn't play Epic because I didn't own any Epic ships and their not putting the points in the app made me want to keep not owning any Epic ships. It is difficult to look at the hyperspace legality stuff and not think that they're being a little contemptuous of the player-base and covering that with a passive-aggressive, "What? Flaw in the premise or not. The perception the rollout of Epic created was that they did not care about it. The facts of the matter as to whether they did or did not is neither here nor there. They had an entire year of a flawed app and did not correct that in time for the rollout of Epic. Stinks of incompetence and laziness and organizational disorder and disharmony. It has taken two years to fix the app. An app that was clearly not built in the first place with Epic in mind. I do not care how much they do or do not care about Epic. When I could have made Epic a thing with my group FFG squirted the toothpaste all over the bathroom sink. And no sooner are they rolling out Epic without app support so you can't make lists because points are not on the cards for the sake of OP than they are cancelling the release of Epic ships. You can't put toothpaste back in the tube. Doesn't matter what they said nor what they intended nor that they felt bad about it. What they DID was not have the app ready to support Epic when all this stuff hit the streets and made me not care about it. Now we've got news about a studio change and I am still without assurance that my pre-orders (already paid) for the next wave and the Clone Wars Armada wave will be honored. If I am to care about and put stock in their intentions they might start with their intentions there and with their intentions regarding the announced products we were to expect by the end of March 2021.

You're imprecise here. In the web-builder there is the collapsed list view with basically the pilot name and the start of their ability and the upgrades slots you're using are shown white. There is a expanded view button in the web-builder that will drop down full details on the ships in the list.

Looks like a new web-based app is up. Just clicked through my usual link and there is a brand-new login screen with a holo of Admiral Ackbar. There has certainly been an update. Looks mostly similar though functionally. Still poking around.

This is not at all the most important communication from either AMG or FFG. What is going on with the announced expansions for these three games through the end of March 2021. That's what I want to know. It is more or less what is to be expected: exactly what we want to hear. It is also neither here nor there until events can be a thing again.

Out of curiosity how much of the old EU did you read? It seems like every time the old EU comes up there is always somebody there ready to trash it. Frankly I think that combined with the same tendency regarding the prequels really served to misinform the creators with regards to what the audience wanted from the sequels. I'm pretty sure one of those highly condemned mis-steps was bringing Palpatine back from the dead. Perhaps there springs the hope for more return of old EU favorites?

There is speculation that going forward ship expansions will not contain command dials. I wonder if there is simply a tremendous overstock of them and this dial pack is just an effort to get something out of them.
