mjgoins reacted to markrivett in Why wasn't squad builder updated yesterday?
When I worked as a software developer, and a technical update needed to be made in correlation with a marketing or business announcement, we had an updated version of the software ready to go ahead of time. We just flipped a switch on the day, and everything was updated. Development and testing had been completed days, sometimes weeks, ahead of the announcement.
Why wasn't squad builder updated yesterday ahead of or immediately after the livestream? There are tournaments going on tonight and this weekend that are perfectly happy to use alternative squad builder apps, but why?
Is there an unqualified tech lead/project manager in charge of squad builder? Are the developers on vacation? This is not a challenging technical or administrative task. YASB and LBN were updated by ONE developer within hours of new points update.
What is the issue?

mjgoins got a reaction from marthasimons in The Other Path
The Other Path says:
I can't decide which of these is the correct interpretation of the above:
1) For each player, for each of the three stories in play, if player has 2 or fewer success tokens on that story, player may place one success token on that story. From zero to 3 total success tokens are placed.
or:
2) For each player, the player chooses one story. If player has 2 or fewer success tokens on that story, player may place one success token on that story. (Either zero or one total success tokens).
My gut tells me it's the second interpretation. Googling, I haven't been able to find the answer.
Thanks.

mjgoins got a reaction from Punning Pundit in HEROES OF THE RESISTANCE!
Black One seems super conditional. How many times will you realistically be right next to your friendly ship that has a target lock at the right time? They could have given it a zero cost pretty reasonably.

mjgoins got a reaction from jhaelen in Attachment, wounded, about to go insane.
Just for those wondering, the answer turns out to be that going insane first removes all attachments. Then after that, the character is destroyed. So the spore would not kick in. This is according to Damon Stone via email.

If a character is wounded, and then is driven insane, would a disrupt on an attachment be able to trigger before the attachment is removed?
For example, Abhorrent spore, wounded character, and that character is driven insane. Do they survive because of the spore?
Thanks!
