From 3D model design to Table ready... (cloud Car files release)
oreet replied to DL-44's topic in Terrain Building
So I'm printing one today, and I ran into an issue on the landing gear. The 2 pins on the top snap right off when applying almost no pressure. I'm guessing it's because my infill % is so low (5%). See image below. This is the layer that prints right before the pin starts, and the next layer, which is the first layer of the pin. What's odd is the back (left) cylinder never had any infill added, and the front (right) cylinder stopped adding infill 12 layers before the pint started. I sliced it again with 75% infill and I'm printing a new one. The increased infill adds only a minute or 2 to the print time. -
Another big question, just how much moisture can be gathered from the atmosphere of a lava planet like Mustafar (which is whatybtable setup was)

So points removed would have gone to my opponent. My Imperial army took heavy casualties.

I completely overlooked the part that says a vaporater can have a max of 4 wound tokens. I thought as the blue player I could spam the f out of damaging it, thus making the scenario seem EXTREMELY unbalanced against the red player. We did end in a tie after realizing the mistake. Since it was a friendly game, we were good with a tie end, but I'm actually not sure who would have won in a tournament/competitive situation.

If Patton Oswald's proposed shared Star Wars/MCU happened, Hulkbuster R2 could have happened.

After re-reading the Standby section of the rules reference, I see nothing that requires a unit performing a Standby to attack the unit that triggered the Standby. I think the spirit of the action implies/assumes you're attacking the unit that triggered it, but nothing specifically says you must attack that unit.

Now I want a Lando + Lobot unit/box similar to Cassian + K2. -
So I figured I'd start a new thread for this. I got a 3D Printer. I got the Ender 5 Pro ( https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X9R1TWS/ ). It showed up yesterday, and this morning I did my first prints. I used Ultimaker Cura for my slicer program, and I'm using white PLA filament that came packaged with the printer. First off, here is the printer, mostly assembled, with an RPG book in front for size reference: My first print was a Gonk Droid, using an STL found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2831817 Unfortunately, I went a little heavy on the raft and support settings, and was unable to remove the supports without snapping off the legs, so now I have a trashcan. The Gonk Droid took about 35 minutes to print. I will revisit this model once I have a better grasp on slicer settings. Second up is a Portal Companion Cube, I mean a Star Wars Crate. Here's where I got the file: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2841076 This download also includes a double crate. This crate took about 36 minutes to print. I played around with the Ironing settings in the slicer to smooth out the top layer a little bit, and I'm pretty happy with how this crate turned out. There's a few imperfections, but overall, it turned out great. So far, the biggest issue I've run into is bed leveling. I had to stop a few prints of both of these models because they wouldn't adhere to the print bed. I fixed this by continuing to work on leveling the bed, and by increasing the bed temperature. The slicer wanted the bed set to 50 degrees celcius, but I upped that to 70 and that seems to have done the trick.
