  1. Hi, Got into another rule debate this evening. =) If the monster activation states "attack/engage/spot the hero with the highest health", does it mean CURRENT health or POSSIBLE health? Can't find anything in the rule books and we have trouble agreeing on the correct course of action.
  2. Looking only the core game's rule book and the FAQ, this is true. Co-op "activation cards" are not mentioned because they didn't exist at the time those rules and FAQ answers were written. However, in the Forgotten Souls co-op rules, we have this little gem on page 7: "When an Activation card refers to a "hero," this includes figures treated as hero figures." Therefore familiars (and any other tokens "treated as heroes") will count as heroes for the effects on these cards. Somebody at FFG was paying attention that day! Thanks!! We missed that part. =)
  3. Thats what we thought, but we cannot for the life of us find rules that defines it, but maybe it is just me that can't read the rules correctly. =( But you would say that in the COOP monster activation cards, "attack the closest hero" would attack the familiar if it exists?
  4. Hi, I've been playing quite a bit of the Coop quests but yesterday for the first time me and my friend used a class with a familiar treated as a figure. This resulted in a debate on how the familiar would be treated in the quest. 1. Since it clearly states "treated as a figure" on the card text and not "treated as a hero figure", does effects that targets "hero figures" affect the familiar. Such as the shadow dragons "shadow" ability. 2. Since every single monster activation notes "hero" in their targeting and attack scheme, does that mean that the familiar is ignored throughout the entire Coop quest? As an example, if a monster is instructed to attack the closest hero, would it attack the familiar if that is the closest figure? Hopefully someone else have had these questions and got an answer. =)
  5. Hi, For you that enjoy the coop gameplay in this one, what custom rules do you prefer? I've been looking around a little and found a few, RedJaks Automated Overlord seems to get the most Thumbs up on Boardgamegeek, but what is the favorit around here, if any? =)
  6. any2cards - Awsome, thanks a ton. =) Think you could do the same for the monsters?
  7. I found the coop quests to be really fun to experience. =) They can do so many variation of things now there is so much content to work with. I would really like to see a Expansion that would utilize pieces from all the previously released content, sort of a "end-goal" for the Descent collector.
  8. Wouldn't that be problematic since many familiars are not counted as obstacles and can occupy the same space as other creatures?
  9. I don't hold my hopes to high to get a reprint of the 1st edition, but it would be pretty nice. I will get the Co-Op Campaigns later during January, so maybe those will give me the exploration feeling. =)

  11. Hi, Are there any plans to create a reprint of the 1st Edition and all the expansions (I guess with a big disclaimer that it is NOT for 2nd edition to avoid confusion)? I came a little late to the party and now that I got almost every piece created for 2nd edition I really want to experience, what I understand, the longer, more scripted dungeon crawler aspect of the 1st edition. Thanks for any info. =)
  12. Madmartigan, You are one awesome individual, investing your free time (for nothing) to make other people have a good time with the stuff you have created. =) Thanks a ton!
