    What can we smuggle?

I believe one of the old, old Han Solo novels opened up with him smuggling water to a desert planet (where the locals used water rationing to keep control over the populace). If memory serves me, he got busted because one of the water tanks sprung a leak and left a big vapor trail behind the Falcon which the customs guys were able to easily spot. Yeah, I think that's probably where I got it from.

    What can we smuggle?

A rare, exotic fish. A wealthy collector wants one for collection, but the fish's native planet does not condone the export of it's species. Customs at the receiving planet wouldn't be to happy to see a non-native species come to their planet either. Don't forget you'll have to retrofit that cargo bay to hold some water! While you're at it, you can smuggle some water to a(n) industrial/volcanic/whatever planet. The planet doesn't have much in the way of good, clean water. The water recyclers are old and crappy. The water they put out tastes horrible. Freighter loads of fresh, pure, clean water would fetch some serious credits. Any kind of flora or fauna can be smuggled for a fun and interesting twist, instead of the same old smuggling run of guns or drugs
  4. The Corporate Sector is free from Imperial control. Now, that doesn't make any of those planets free, just not under Imperial rule.

    Hyperspace question

The Interdictor Class is also in Fly Casual, so, while doesn't make it technically canon it's certainly available to use.
  6. I believe there's a forward cargo ramp, with direct access to that middle compartment. Then, you can kinda see there are doors leading to the left and right compartments from there.

This is such a fantastic concept. I never even thought about TIEs possibly being configured to do something like this.

How do you run a good session zero?

This is exactly what I was looking for. Awesome. Thank you!
  9. I might be starting up a new game with some rpg noobs and this is a thing I have come across. I get the big picture of what a session 0 is for but would like some insight on how to run it so we can get the most out of it.

    Anyone out there playing Battlefront?

Spawn and die. Spawn and die. Over and over. If that's your thing, then go for it. But it is certainly repetitive. It looks and sounds GREAT. It looks and sounds like like Star Wars. There are just so many things that don't feel right though. It needs to expand, A LOT. Where's all the prequel battlefields? Where's the speeders? Where's the classes of soldiers? It's just not the game I (and seemingly a lot of other people) thought or hoped we'd get. That said, I'll still just and and play some nights if I'm feeling the mood.
  11. This is awesome. I may be using this in the future.
  12. Pirate you say? Well, what do pirates love? TREASURE! I just happened to finish reading the old Han Solo book Han Solo and the Lost Legacy and it gave me some great ideas. Specifically, finding a lost treasure ship of the ancient Xim the Despot. The best part about this and this is a SPOILER for the 36 year old Han Solo and the Lost Legacy: . . . . . . The treasure is worthless! It's a 25,000 year old treasure ship filled with "precious" metals. Well, in the ensuing 25,000 years, the galaxy found those metals to be not so precious anymore, just common metal. It's genius. I pulled the same sort of switcheroo on my PCs. Had them discover Queen Rana's vault on Duro. Rumored to contain a massive collection of Rakatan artifacts. When they opened the vault, just dusty, rusted, broken, "worthless" artifacts. Nothing useable. Nothing recognizable. The payoff came from shopping the archaeological dig rights to the universities around the galaxy.

Environmental Effects: Help Me Adjust Dice Pools?

As far as firing the slugthrowers or the blasters even, after having been underwater, I would upgrade a purple to a red. Any Despair would render the weapon unusable for a time due to the water messing it up.

  15. Hey, I listen to golf on the radio (if it's a major championship and I am forced to be in the car for some reason)! The narcissism was in jest. I see your point about Pathfinder and 4e not translating to audio well though. I never thought about that part.
