    Golden Rule.
    Cannot is absolute in an upgrade card, and overwrites Can, Must, Will, Does, etc.
    Gunnery Teams and OrdPods is a bad mix - just like Gunnery Teams and Advanced Gunnery.

    Just list what you have in your sideboard, they can go on any eligible ship when making fleet changes. I'll be posting a fleet submission form shortly.
     
    All fleets and sideboards will be public knowledge, hence the need to make your fleet changes prior to starting your matches, its partially a mind game on what changes your opponent might make.

    Clarification on the sideboard rules:
    You may have other ship variants in your sideboard, but they cost their full point cost (IE Larges don't fit) You can have a whole ship in your sideboard, it's just costly Once the tournament has started your sideboard loses its point restriction. (IE, you could drop a large ship into your sideboard and put in your 75 from your sideboard, but you will then have a large bid)

    Due to it being round robin style, there won't be scheduled matchups per say. for the 5 man pods, I'd probably give each player 3 opponents they would need to schedule games with, they can then play them at their own pace.

    And the Draft Pods are all set (Page 1, 2nd Post). We had 22 players, so two pods have 5 players instead of 4, but it shouldn't make that much of a difference. If the pods want to play the extra 4th round to get the full round robin it's up to them, otherwise they can just play 3 rounds like everyone else.
     
    PMs have been sent out for each of the Pods, drafting can begin now. The goal is to finish within a week, so by Wednesday the 18th of July so we can have a few days to build fleets and then begin play on the 22nd of July.

    Hello everyone! With the Vassal mini tournament winding down, I'm stepping up to host the next tournament on Vassal! This will be another casual level tournament, and it's going to have a twist. With ideas taken from the draft tournament which was several years ago, I've been working to revise the format for another go! The majority of the rules are now posted: 
        400 points fleets      You will draft a number of expansions to use to build your fleet. You may only use cards from those expansions when building your fleet     Your fleet may consist of both Imperial and Rebel ships and squadrons.      There are no unique upgrades or squadrons besides your Commander, Fleet Commands, and Experimental Retrofits      Flotillas are still limited to 2 per fleet     Each squadron pack drafted allows you to take two squadrons of each type in the expansion     All Objectives are legal (except for the Green CC Objectives)     You may have a 75 point sideboard of upgrades, ships, and squadrons. Before each game, you may make any adjustments to your fleet you desire using that sideboard so long as you follow all fleetbuilding rules for this tournament     NOTE: To avoid any issues with hotswaping fleets on Vassal, I ask all players make these changes to their fleet before their games in their fleet savefile. Fleets are not to be changed after loading them into the game, unless you are given permission by your opponent. The draft      The players will be split into a number of draft pods containing 4 players each     There will be a random pool of draftable expansions for each pod, enough for 5 picks per player.     The Expansions were grouped by size and a number of each are available to draft         4 Large (include Core Set)         4 Medium         8 Small         4 Squadron Packs     Using a group PM the players will each take turns selecting an expansion from the pool until all expansions are chosen.     This will be in a snake format. So players 1,2,3,4 then 4,3,2,1 and so on.      I will be apart of these PMs to monitor and assist with any questions.      NOTE: Hammerheads and Flotillas do provide two ships per pack. You may only use ISD variants found in your chosen expansion.     NOTE: The Core set and Chimeara Expansions both provide 2 of their respective squadrons. (2 TIE, 2 Xwings for Core, 2 Gauntlets for Chimeara)
