Swap R2-D2 onto Poe, so he doesn't have to worry about always getting his Focus action, put R5-P9 on Ello since he wants to use whites and his T-Roll option a lot. Stresshog is probably the safest bet, but I also like having an all X-Wing list.

None of the 3 LFGSs that are near me do anything to push X-Wing, it is all done by players via social media to determine play nights, etc. If my FLGS is selling at MSRP, and people can still buy it online for 10-20% off, the online purchasers (of which I am one) will continue to just buy online and will buy less in store to keep the amount spent per ship about the same. Stores are not needed to play, there are dozens of locations that can fit a 3x3 play area, and the vast majority of people who are playing at the local stores have their own place and plenty of table space at home. MY spending won't change, but all of my purchasing will move to online sales for that constant 10%-20% discount instead of buying half online at 35%-40% off and the rest at MSRP in store.

Just have a Torpedo Slot item that is T-65 specific and gives it something else, either point reduction or an action bar change. Sure, it's similar to Chardaan, who cares. It would make the X-Wing more viable.

He's the king of T-70 maneuvering. I'm considering something like this: Poe, Lone Wolf, R5P9, Integrated Astromech Ello, PTL, BB8, Integrated Astromech Red Squad Vet, Crack Shot, Targetting Astromech, Integrated Astromech Everyone is a viable threat, and the RSV is perfect to get that killing shot on something late in the round. Hopefully Poe gets to close the game, but if not Ello seems pretty competent for it as well.

Yep. The stores in my local area that have folded over the last few years even as tabletop gaming has accelerated might still be around if more companies did this. Might still be around if they provided services people saw as worth the extra money.

Since he doesn't need to T-Roll each round, I was considering PTL. T-Roll, Boost/Focus, Target Lock could be a lot of fun.

If the pricing online heads towards MSRP I'll just slow my purchases. I have a few FLGS, but I rarely play there or buy there. This isn't going to make me purchase from them more often either, it just means I will buy a lot less stuff or look for it second hand. It's not that I can't afford it, it's that I think $15 for a small cheap plastic ship and some cardboard is too much.

I've been running Poe + 1-2pt EPT (mostly VI just to snag them arc dodgers), R5-P9, Autothruster; 2x Red Squadron with Pred and Autothruster. I've been thinking of swapping VI for Draw Their Fire though. Mainly, try and come in from an angle that allows me to pass through the enemy formation and scoot back out using 3 banks or 4 straights + boost. Focus fire on something during a pass, kill it, rinse and repeat. The Reds tend to take the brunt of enemy fire because Poe is just a pain in the ass to kill (hence my thoughts on DTF). Stay fast, don't get into a drawn out dogfight, make long slashing attacks. I have a tournament tomorrow, so we'll see how it goes in that environment. Think I may take DTF instead of VI or LW on Poe to try and extend the life of my Reds (they do so much damage).

I'm liking that, I was considering something similar. Wired + R3A2 looks fun.

Seems my area is mostly swarms or agile 2 ship lists. I've been flying 3 T-70 and doing well lately. We'll see how the tournament scene goes in the next couple weeks.

I've been running it with Predator, and changing EPT on Poe. 7W 1L so far. Went up against some TLT Golds last night, lost a T-70, killed all the Y's.

I fly Rebel and Scum. I have all the things. I just don't like any of the Imperial ships...except maybe the Punisher, I get a kick out of that thing.

Yea, sadly Red Ace is out until the blister pack hits. So, at the moment, I have been running Poe w/ VI/LW/DF, R5-P9, AT, and 2 Red Squadrons w/ Pred, AT. Works pretty well so far.

I'm looking at 3 T-70's for a tournament. Been flying the list with minor changes since the new starter hit. Really, I just want opinions on a couple of choices. VI or Draw Fire for Poe, Lone Wolf just never really came in super handy, he flies with his buddies to nuke something down and then they all extend to reset. Red Squadron Vets, PTL or Pred? PTL gives me lots of options, Pred prevents me needing TL. Thoughts? Experiences? Anything?

Your first two options are reversed, but I agree. For the points the Kihraxz is better as a low/mid PS machine. If only Talonbane had been a Starviper pilot...

In the OT I don't think you see any landed TIEs at all, nor do you see them actually launch from anything.

For fun, the little stun energy slingshot could use tech similar to a bowcaster or those blue orb thingies Gungans like to use, since those are all canon too!
