    I ran this yesterday: leebo, Lone Wolf, recon, outrider, hlc. Chewie, predator, threeps, mf

    Title. I was tempted to run determination as it is the Logic choice, but with recon and Wolf you mitigate so much damage its Unbelievable. The build is one of my absolute favorites right now.

    In a 2ship build, if you are taking Lone Wolf on one ship wouldn't it make sense to take it on both ships rather than Predator on the second? If the ship with LW is range 3 of its teammate then the opposite is obviously true. LW provides much more defense at a lower cost with only a slight decrease in offense. Depending on what you face obviously.

    I like Lone Wolf on chewie much better than DTF because i dont want to respect any formation here. I want the enemy to decide whom to go after first and offer Chewie as first target! Lone Wolf helps to guess C3PO right too, because that way i can perhaps get 2 evades out of him.

     

    C3PO only works on the initial roll, not with subsequent rerolls AFAIK.

    Huh?...It's been a long time since I sat in math class but the chances of drawing a crit are the same if you are playing with one deck, two decks or a hundred decks assuming all of the decks are identical.

    I absolutely love the buildings.  I am amazed that you can do those from scratch.  By comparison the asteroid itself seems a little underwhelming.  Kinda looks like a dirty loaf of bread.  I am sure sacrifices had to be made to ensure that it was stable for tabletop use though.

     

    Very impressive build overall though.

    My X-Wing league just wrapped up and is switching formats for the next session.  It will consist of 3 100 pt games per session for 4-5 sessions.  You must play the same list for each game of an individual session.  Once a unique pilot is killed, you may continue to use him for subsequent games that night but is not available for subsequent sessions.  You must play the same faction throughout.

     

    My first instinct would be to play generic low PS pilots at first and let some of the better pilots get weeded out and then bring in higher PS builds but I am new to the game and would welcome some advice.

    Thank you Captain Listmyaccomplishmentsinsig. Some of us don't care about tournament play, I'm simply eager to have Oicunn attempting to slam into a barrel rolling Dash on my table at home.

     

    But please, by all means, continue to tell others that they shouldn't be eager to get their new toys because it doesn't impact what's important to you.

     

    And yes, I daily refresh the Upcoming link. And yes, I realize that the results aren't going to change. And yes, I realize that is rather sad. But dangit, if desperately wanting wave 5 stuff is wrong, then I don't want to be right!!!
