  1. A good tool to maximize results but doesn't say how to manage the Force tokens.
  2. Yeah. With the 2.0 Dash we saw a good and playable pilot from the start and only 15 points of difference to the actual version. The TLT is a bad design because like Rendar or Luke Gunner can be too powerfull if they are right costed. I don't miss that. We need more in game choices, no more dice and more power creep cards.
  3. Remember Extreme Maneuvers has a required action. Is not like Afterburners. And I am not sure that a dual card fix this.
  4. The current App version doesn't allow the VTG on the Y-Wing with a Turret selected too. The App doesn't work? I don't remember if the Daredevil upgrade on T-65 was allowed by older versions of the official App but with the Gunner seems like an error... ----- Edit: Ok, on this thread we have an answer: https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/285084-squad-builder-bug-reporting/page/6/#comments But, It doesn't work with Luke, Extreme Maneuvers and S-Foils.
  5. Yes. I bring up this entry only for interpretative reasons. Because is a dual card, and one side doesn't add anything to the action bar, and because you don't choose the face up side until you deploy. There are builds that could work, but this is an extreme case.
  6. I am going to answer here too: Rules Reference: "Action: If there is an action icon, this upgrade can be equipped only to a ship with that action on its action bar. This does not include actions on its linked action bar. "[P.22] But... "Some upgrade cards have an action bar that lists one or more actions. These actions are added to the ship’s action bar and therefore are standard actions that the ship can perform." [P.3] And... "Q: If a ship equips an upgrade that alters one of its values (such as agility), how does this affect variable cost upgrades? A: Other upgrades are ignored when calculating variable costs, and the base values of the ship are used." [P.30] With this ruling, I am more in the "is not a legal build" option and you ignore (like the official App) other upgrade cards, but maybe I am wrong... With VTG and the Y-Wing, you add the Rotate action by Turret upgrade too, and we have played this combo from the start of Second Edition.

  8. I think isn't a legal config by the rules and the official App doesn't let you equip the upgrade because the base ship doesn't have the boost action on the action bar. Althought the S-foils closed adds the boost, like the agility value with some upgrades, I think you must take the base ship profile at squadbuilding.
  9. I tested EM in Fly Casual too, and yes, he moves and reposition very well, but I think he lose damage consistency (like Daredevil Vonreg). Kylo shots more and when he wants, but is not so scary. Kylo, unlike the Jedi, has two resources: Stress for reposition and Force to modify results. You lose mods for more options on one that is already one of the best arc-dodgers in the game. If you have points, sure, it's good, but not so good to be autoinclude. I have to test it more, anyway, but for me is probably the more disappointing upgrade of the new Wave (I expected to use this on Kylo too).

Yes. Almost a similar strong defense but you need an enemy in the Bullseye. Is not so easy as take your action. I don't like the Stealth Device upgrade. I would prefer that this type of cards doesn't exist in the Second Edition. I think Soontir with this upgrade is awful. The Eta-2 is worse.

Yes, there are counters but I still think that the upgrade options for the Eta-2 are power creep. The 3 T-65 is an example and I actually play the bad guys.

When your opponent works hard to create this situation or you made a big mistake, I think he deserves better odds. Also, maybe you lose the Device but you aren't dead (actually you lose the ship 5% of the times and you receive two hits on a 15% - and then give points). Almost 120 points of the enemy squad in a good spot to score, don't do anything. Do you think that's fair?

I don't want an immediately nerf but I am a bit worried about the defensive aspect of this ship and the main (and best) tactic with it. I understand the lack of punch but It doesn't justify the absurd increase of defense with the Stealth Device, Evade and Force. Do the math. If three T-65 with focus have caught you in arc at range 2 (you messed up with your maneuvers) and you can perform the Evade action and have 2 Force tokens, you run unscathed 55% of the times. That's too much.
  14. It's 1 charge. It's not optional. 2 points is ok.

Power Creep. The talent and especially the mod slot is a very bad idea from a balance perspective. The Force plus Evade on four green dice (with Stealth Device) is too strong. The ship does not have much damage output, but it can be unblockable with the autoblaster + talent + astromech combo, and that guarantees points that can be defended very well. Is a fragile ship that with the correct choices (on squadbuilding and flying) will be meta warping and probably NPE in the near future (when the hype drops). When the game needs that every shot counts, we have the Acewing return. I like the ship, the ability and the possibilities, but the upgrades options are a mistake. I said the same with Soontir Fel. Naked is fine. Inflated with extra health and defensive options is a problem. I am a primary Ace player, but I want to fly those ships and lose when I make a mistake or my opponent forces one. I don't like when I survive because I throw a lot of always modified green dice. Darth Vader and Kylo Ren are well designed Force pilots. Strong but expensive, and they eat damage frequently. The Aethersprite loses the mod slot or 1 green dice (depending on the config), and the Evade action is purple. All of them have deficiencies that cannot be adressed. With the Eta-2 actually you can.
