    I dunno about that. I did manage to score the absolute fewest points possible while still managing to kill something. I'm really just hoping that flying those beasts will force me to get better. I can theory-wing with the best of them, but when it comes to actually taking the toys out of the box and rolling the bones...meh

    Also, the Empire is a legitimate government. Sheev Palpatine was elected, and given exectutive powers for the "duration of the crisis". No one is saying they aren't corrupt and bigotted, but you "Rebel Scum" ARE taking up arms against a sovreign nation. Terrorists, every sodding one of you ;)

    Very similar to the malcontents in Massachusetts, Virginia and the other colonies that took up arms against their king near the end of the 18th century.

    True, but they were labeled as traitors as well.

    After coming in dead last in my Store Championship today (Thank you 5 blank greens on a cloaked Phantom first combat pass), I have come to the realization that I SUCK at flying the big ships. My Whisper/Rear Admiral Keanu list got molly-womped all four rounds today. I managed to kill ONE Acadamy Tie. In four rounds. Total.

    So yeah, now that I've kvetched about it, here's how I plan to fix it. I'm gonna run nothing BUT the fat bottom girls. Here we go.

    Patrol Leader w/ Rebel Captive - 43pts

    Omnicron Group Pilot w/ His Darthness, Lord of Throat Hugs - 24pts

    Bounty Hunter - 33pts

    Total - a smooth 100/100 even

    The plan is to give myself nothing but Darth to rely on so that I must needs position myself accordingly. The RC on the Laser Sponge is simply there to give the other guy something to think about. Plus, it's what, something like 30 hull/shields...check that, 33 H/S. That should keep me flying for a minute or two.

    Anybody else ever made a spite list as a training exercise?

    If so, what was it? Who hurt you? Show me on the dolly...

    Relentless Pursuer: When an enemy ship inside your firing arc declares a barrel roll, boost, or decloak you may immediately perform a free boost or barrel roll action. 3pts

    I don't know whether they would ever add an EPT that is an interrupt, but I'd love to see this. Adds an extra layer of intrigue because your free action has to be performed before they complete theirs, and if they can't complete it you could end up way out of position.

    I'm mostly an interceptor/phantom player so it would hurt me :) maybe I'm just a masochist.

    What about something like this?

    Hair Trigger - 2 SP

    If an enemy inside your firing arc declares an action that would move them out of your firing arc, you may fire an immediate primary weapon attack against that enemy which can not be modified except by inate pilot abilities. If you do so, you may not attack again this turn.

    Yeah, I meant Black. I love Determination on the Decimator, but I can't help but love the look on their faces when you double bump them. What if I drop the Shield Upgrade on the Black and use Yorr on my shuttle? That will also let me swap IA for MCP or Mara Jade. Hmm...

    OGP w/ Darth

    Obsidian /w DTF and a Shield Upgrade

    My plan is to do as much unavoidable damage as possible while completely throwing the other guy off his game. There isn't a heavy Falcon meta, but this is the Championships so they might break the old scoundrel out of mothballs for the occasion. If that happens I know I have a long day ahead of me, but I'm hoping to be able to be competitive otherwise.

    ImpCred for your thoughts?
