  1. Hello, Since the SCs in my area show an abundance of Sloane and the Avenger, I tried to make a rebel list which can hold its ground against Sloane/Avenger, but should also stand a chance versus most other lists. I came up with the following list. Sadly, I wasn't able to test it in real games yet. So I ask you guys. Please look over it and share your thoughts. Sato 6 (399/400) =============== Assault Frigate Mk.II B (72 + 24) + Ordnance Experts (4) + Expanded Hangar Bay (5) + Electronic Countermeasures (7) + Gallant Haven (8) CR90 Corvette A (44 + 48) + Commander Sato (32) + Toryn Farr (7) + Turbolaser Reroute Circuits (7) + Jaina's Light (2) Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36 + 10) + Ordnance Experts (4) + Assault Proton Torpedoes (5) + Task Force Organa (1) Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36 + 10) + Ordnance Experts (4) + Assault Proton Torpedoes (5) + Task Force Organa (1) GR-75 Combat Retrofits (24 + 4) + Boosted Comms (4) Tycho Celchu (16) YT-2400 (16) 2 x X-wing Squadron (13) 3 x A-wing Squadron (11) Squadrons are meant to be defensive with gallant heaven. A-wings are Defensive Screen around GH, YT2400 finishes off what the As hurt. The Xs counterattack and escort Tycho. Tycho goes to the enemy ships to provide Sato-powered Black dice for the AFB and the HHs. TRC90 just hangs behind the big boy as a live boat for Sato and Toryn. GR75 plays squadron game and does Toryn-enhanced AA.
  2. Same goes for me. When I am playing Imperials, I never bother for an initiative bid, because I think the Imperials win though sheer firepower and the sturdiness of the star destroyer. Rebels on the other side need more maneuvering and tactis to win, in my opinion. So I go here to a bid of 1-5 points. If my opponent bids more points, ok. But thats an update he can't use, so it may give me an advantage.
  3. Hello Guys. I plan to go to a store championship and thus far, I've created a list for this purpose. The original list looks like this: Full Squadron Faction: Rebel Alliance Points: 398/400 Commander: General Dodonna Assault Objective: Precision Strike Defense Objective: Contested Outpost Navigation Objective: Superior Positions [ flagship ] Assault Frigate Mark II B (72 points) - General Dodonna ( 20 points) - Flight Controllers ( 6 points) - Boosted Comms ( 4 points) - Electronic Countermeasures ( 7 points) Assault Frigate Mark II B (72 points) - Flight Controllers ( 6 points) - Boosted Comms ( 4 points) - Electronic Countermeasures ( 7 points) Nebulon-B Escort Frigate (57 points) - Yavaris ( 5 points) - Wing Commander ( 6 points) 2 X-Wing Squadrons ( 26 points) 2 B-Wing Squadrons ( 28 points) 1 Wedge Antilles ( 19 points) 1 "Dutch" Vander ( 16 points) 1 Dash Rendar ( 24 points) 1 Jan Ors ( 19 points) My plan is to to hang in the back with the frigates and wither the enemy from afar, while the squadrons go and kill enemy squadrons. B-wings with Yavaris go for enemy capital ships, especially for any gladiators/mc30 trying to close in. The problem is that I can't fly the Neb-B very well in concert with the frigates. In my previous test games the Neb B usually ends up in the middle of the battlefield around turn 3 or 4 and is getting killed by the enemy capital ships (but not before Yavaris kicks in and let the b-wings kick someones ass). Fun to play, but the Neb-B is a guaranteed kill for my opponent. Now I came up with a modified list to solve the problem of free points for my opponent. I dropped the Neb and both B-wings, instead I got me a mc30 with some upgrades. My plan is that the frigates still wither the enemy ships with red dice from afar, all while spamming squadron commands to gain space superiority with the squadrons. Meanwhile, mc30s flanks the enemy and tries to get shots into the rear. full squadron 2 Faction: Rebel Alliance Points: 395/400 Commander: General Dodonna Assault Objective: Precision Strike Defense Objective: Contested Outpost Navigation Objective: Superior Positions [ flagship ] Assault Frigate Mark II B (72 points) - General Dodonna ( 20 points) - Flight Controllers ( 6 points) - Boosted Comms ( 4 points) - Electronic Countermeasures ( 7 points) Assault Frigate Mark II B (72 points) - Flight Controllers ( 6 points) - Boosted Comms ( 4 points) - Electronic Countermeasures ( 7 points) MC30c Torpedo Frigate (63 points) - Foresight ( 8 points) - Ordnance Experts ( 4 points) - Electronic Countermeasures ( 7 points) - XI7 Turbolasers ( 6 points) - Assault Proton Torpedoes ( 5 points) 2 X-Wing Squadrons ( 26 points) 1 Wedge Antilles ( 19 points) 1 "Dutch" Vander ( 16 points) 1 Dash Rendar ( 24 points) 1 Jan Ors ( 19 Points) Now what you guys think? I am grateful for any hints and opinions.
