Guys, guys, you almost have me putting my Armada stuff on hold and get to work on these boxes... After all I'm currently converting all my Armada files to my new workflow (localization ready), and that involves some REALLY dumb and annoying Excel work... Actually building boxes sounds like a ton more fun. ;-)

I made reference sheets for each faction's currently revealed dials and card information. There is also a compact version without the card text. Please let me know if you notice any errors. Share and enjoy! Downloads:

I think it would suffice to have:
1x1 boxes for the infantry command expansions, Ardus, and Kari. 2x1 boxes for all other units

Personally, A since my stuff is magnetized lol. I know a lot of people magnetized them too (since it isnt that hard given they already have a hole in the bottom for a magnet)
I would say the 2x1 sets would be ideal since all the expansions come in packs of 2s. Perhaps offer a single tray box for the Command boxes, even though most people have 2 commands for their race i believe, theyre the only one that comes in a single tray that isnt a hero.
Another vote to A would be its easier to protect the spears/lances than single model compartments. If theyre stored on the tray it wouldnt be a problem.

Not this again. It just ends up being a circle of the same conversation.

Different setting and systems. Don't worry.

Sounds like a fair result to me. Ankaur Maro's rules definitely need more clarification.

They don't when they are the bigger packages. They don't show the rules pamphlet that will come with these ships.

    Oh wow
I read through the first five pages of this thread and holy crap you guys are negative!
The resistance bomber is not broken enough to replace Nym?! But we all know that him being better than Nym would not exactly improve the game... Come on guys, I remember the Shuttle Tydirium talking about slinging bombs and how fun it is. Isn't that a great mechanic? Either you are low PS and can deny area or predict the movement well - something we all declaredly want and ask for! Or he's high PS and can react to movement. 5template+radius is 8.5 ship lengths. So some of you will be amazing at predicting the distance, allowing you to hit beyond range 3! That's fascinating and a very interesting new turn. It could even be an answer to imperial alpha strikes if they stick around long enough.
And the silencer is a bit on the expensive side but he is more a Corran-like ship. No, he has no regen and no double tap. But he doesn't need to to be comparable - a comparison can be limited, and in this case it's limited to the role within the squad due to cost, and to the crazy movement due to advanced sensors (or consistent output with FCS). Which brings me to the next criticism: yes he only has 3(5) slots. But aren't we also moaning about 7 upgrade ships?! So EPT, Title, Mod, Tech and System is NOT enough?! There are several good options for Systems, and this wave introduces some new tech slots. There are 'only' three slots, but they are among the three most interesting ones with crew missing... and we can all see why the silencer has no crew!
And a 3/3/4/2 statline is crazy good! We already can run a 39pt QD, and we used to run 41-43pt Whisper, so why is a 42pt Ren so unbelievably bad and un-imperial?! It's like a Defender but with an amazing dial, high PS and double repositioning.
I really wanted the new A-Wing, but I can not understand how you are all putting this new wave down bevore a sliver of information. We don't believe it's a 2-ship wave, right? So try to be patient and keep calm.

Millennium Falcon: Luke, Leia, Chewie, C3PO, R2D on board, they they are not yet full. So Chewie flies, Leia plays the copilot, Han and Luke are in the turrets and C-3PO and R2-D2 are the crew lots. Seems correct ;-)

Wow... reading through the responses to these new ship announcements really shows how miserable a place this forum is.
It's like the majority of people don't even have the ability to be excited or interested in new ships anymore.

The ARC-170 seats 3. One in the front, one at the tail gun, and one in the middle by the astromech.
The K-Wing seats 3. One in the left cockpit, one in the right, and one in the turret cockpit.
I got nothing for the Scurrg. I never played that game so I don't know how many people normally crew and fly it.

The TIE/sf's rear arc is the crew

Reasons you are wrong: torps, ept, crew, pilot skill
Reasons you might be wrong: dial, pilot abilities
Every Jumpmaster pilot is under costed by 5-7 points.
This is the only part of your post with a shred of truth.
    I think you're trolling.

K-wing has a pilot, two turret operators, and a bombadier (the crew slot
Arc-170 has a pilot, tail gunner, and a sysop for recon (The crew)
Scurg has a pilot, gunner, and bombadier (the crew. Num automated the Havoc with Astromechs, hence why the title removes a crew slot). There is a very, very good reason why each of these ships have crew.

Have been working on my own chart for a while, and I did a test with the addition of the card's visual for each unit. I think it helps a lot to quickly identify the info you're looking for.

Eight unit dials can fit on a 8x11 sheet, 10 if you remove the title bar and the ability tabs. Note that the text for Hawthorne's chain attack ability is barely readable once printed though (on a cheap laser printer).

Your conclusion is so completely wrong even compared to all the other silly stuff people write on this forum.
Kylo Ren will play somewhat like a more maneuverable Corran Horn. If you notice, the dial has a revealed green 2 turn. This is a ship ace pilots will excel with. Kylo will arguably be the most maneuverable ship in the game, at PS9, with Auto-thrusters. Kylo Ren also is costed similar to PS9 Poe.
Kylo Ren -- PTL / Advanced Sensors / Autothrusters
People who say that VI & Fire-Control are auto-include just have never faced a PTL / Advanced Sensors Corran Horn flown well. Corran Horn is good with Fire-Control and Advanced Sensors.

Because, as always, the Tie/SFs crew member is dedicated to working the back guns. That's his only job. Crew in this game represents crew that can actually do other things other than man the guns.

A Runewars expansion is (all announced and releases expansions so far) always a playable unit. You don't need more. You only need more if you want another composition of that unit (mostly just more trays). So Runewars gives you more room for individual units. In Legion you can (at the moment) only change the units composition with an extra mini and/or one out of 2 extra weapon minis.
Both systems give you a playable unit in a box, but differ in the way you can utilize them.

I could imagine they sell them in a single hero pack. Like the lieutenants in descent. Which cost 9 or 15 bucks depending on the model size.

I mentioned Legion to a 40k player and he asked how much the core set was...  "$90.  Plus, if we each buy a box and swap armies, we get more or less full armies for $90 each."  His response...
    "Oh, so it's basically free?"
    Gotta love 40k pricing.

tkundnobody reacted to Allergic2Corn in Wouldn't Prequels Make More Sense?
Instead of the OT wouldn't the Prequels make more sense for a war game? Clones and droids are both mass produced, meaning that they would make more sense being in a war. There is also more customization options for painting, especially the clones. They have many types of droids and clones allowing for more units, not to mention the many vehicles they have at their disposal. I also saw people wanting commanders that are more like their troops. The clones allow you to have people like Commander Cody and Captain Rex. I know many do not like the Prequels, but they are so geared towards military battle that they would make sense for a war game. Any other thoughts would be appreciated
