  1. The problem with that, is that the second unit the Jedi moves into melee with can then just disengage, and now the Jedi is susceptible to getting shot. It still might be the best option for many different reasons, but it's not a guarantee of safety the way that moving into melee with an already activated unit is.
  2. Are you including Maul in that group? Because it was revealed that he will not have a flaw card— the card shown in his spread in the initial announcement was an error. Also, he never betrayed the CIS. Not only was he never a part of it, but he was abandoned by Sidious (granted, Sidious assumed he was dead) and replaced by Dooku, so he felt that he was the one who was betrayed. But if Lando does get a flaw card, I really hope it's "Deal's Getting Worse All the Time"
  3. If anyone is still looking for Death Troopers (I know some people were a couple months ago) it looks like those are back in stock as well.
  4. I am still TO THIS DAY mad about when they did the test release for Mk II and made Cryx arc nodes the same price as everyone else's because they claimed Cryx was never supposed to be able to run more arc nodes than anyone else, and players had to actually show them the page from the original Prime rulebook where it said that tons of arc nodes were key to Cryx strategy. And yeah, they fixed it in the final release, but how can their own designers have been that oblivious... Sometimes I miss Warmachine/Hordes, but most of the time I absolutely do not.
  5. Yeah, Palp is expensive and not the easiest commander to use, so he doesn't get taken a lot. But when he gets taken by good players, he wins a lot.
  6. I've never played 40k, but as someone who only recently offloaded all of their old Warmachine books: no books, please.
  7. I fully expect we will get a new card pack sometime next year. There will be enough new stuff by then to justify it, I think.
  8. Yes, but the odds of those being force users is extremely slim. They have never released two characters in a row with nothing else for any faction, and the odds of the GCW factions getting a generic force user of any variety at this time seems particularly unlikely. I am personally not bothered by this, just pointing it out.
  9. Also, if This is Where the Fun Begins has been played, Not a Story the Jedi Would Tell also gives Anakin a suppression unless the GAR players gets extremely lucky.
  10. Because to legally field 3 strike teams you need 3 strike team unit cards. Though that only really matters in tournaments (or against really nitpicky opponents).
  11. Also, if the RT was the same price as the DLT, there would be no reason to take the DLT (unless Armor became very prevalent, but in that case the HH-12 might get taken if it also were to cost the same).
  12. He can even do a better version of the thing Cad Bane can do that started this whole discussion, assuming he has the Annihilator equipped. He can aim, clamber up a wall, take a Relentless shot, then Scale back down. Scale is possibly the best keyword in the game.
  13. That's like saying Tauntauns can't use Agile, reposition, and relentless off of the same move.
  14. There are still two upcoming as-yet unannounced Imperial/Rebel releases. From the way Luke Eddy talked about about them during the GenCon live stream, one of them sounds like it will be a vehicle/droid (he referred to it as "it" and not "they"), which if it is a vehicle release, means there's a good chance both of them will be vehicles.
  15. While that is certainly possible, we do know that one of the unannounced releases is something pretty obscure— to the point that Luke had to clarify that it is canon and they didn't make it up, and that he hasn't seen anyone request it. So I doubt that would be a character of any kind, let alone a force user. Not when there are so many obvious, highly-requested force users they could go with instead.
  16. I believe he's referring to Recover the Supplies, not Supply Drop.
  17. I also can't help but notice that those are all the last days of their respective months. Seems like someone knew the month and just put the latest date possible to prevent putting a date that was too early.
